I had the falls all to myself when I got there. Enjoyed its cool water and its three tiered fun. A short walk from the main road, accessible via tricycle from Virac.

Really liked the waterfalls and the small jacuzzi like pools before the big drop. Local government charges P20 per person and the van driver is free!

In Bato municipality, there is a PHP15 entrance fee. It is a 3-tier falls, and very good for photo-ops. Nice for swimming and chilling.

I would recommend the place for travellers in Catanduanes.

Good if you have other places to go. The water is very cold that you'll have a hard time taking the first dip. After that is fine. Its not a majestic falls but good enough.

We stayed at the shallower pool and only on the sides because we are not good swimmers. I would appreciate if they have life vests like in Tinago falls in Iligan. We were always scared we are getting to the too deep part and that took away most of the fun.

Like most people we wanted to see the tip of the falls but it was a steep going up with only a make shift barrier to hold on to which we learned is a new addition. It is not safe especially if you're afraid of heights. An old man we talked to going back was nice enough to remind us to be careful as a young guy died from falling there just last year.

We went on a weekday so it was just us and a group of teens after an hour. If there were more people there then it would be harder to enjoy the place.

Located within a short walking distance from our billeting station in Brgy. Cabugao during the three(3) consecutive Annual Palarong Bicol held in this island province , this place was our favorite hang-out after the games. Water here is so cold you'll think there's ice melting down there somewhere. You may have some trouble doing your first dip; but once you're in the water, you're sure gonna love it. Best time to visit and go swimming is mid-morning until mid-afternoon. The falls is surrounded by a grove of towering trees with roots creeping along the side stone walls which creates an umbrella-like covering at the top. Hence, much of the swimming area is shaded and that makes the water cold even at high noon. The nearest store is about 1km away so better come with your food stuffs ready. I also suggest, if you come with some friends, bring with you a few cans of beer to warm you up; or better yet, bring a match, charcoal, raw meat or fish, and a BBQ grill to make your day. Just don't leave the place without tidying up. Enjoy!
