We decided to have a break on our way home to meet friends from the UK staying in Caloundra.
We arrived after lunch at Avicado Grove, where we met other guests, & enjoyed the company of our hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, we were all made to feel at home. So glad we made the break, many thanks Sonya & John

We stayed a night for our wedding anniversary: it felt like staying with friends rather then a commercial arrangement. All the reviews are spot on: John & Sonya made us feel most welcome. Best breakfast in town: fresh, seasonal fruit and well-presented home-grown avocado and bacon. Great start for a lovely weekend. PS: John makes a legendary cup of tea!

Room Tip: Shepard room has a separate bath/toilet. Still private and you get full access to the guest's lounge

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights as we were in Flaxton for a friend's wedding. We stayed in the Hass Room which was quiet and had a large ensuite bathroom. Plenty of free parking and the drive was easy from Brisbane. We arrived late and John waited for us and helped us wind-down after travelling up from Sydney. The location is amazing, the view from the deck is paradise. Very close to shops and restaurants and we had a nice walk at one of the local trails as recommended by John.
The bed was so comfortable, everything was clean. Towels and robes provided. They even provided me with an iron to get ready for the wedding. Great shower and everything you need in the room to relax. Now breakfast...possibly the best breakfast we've ever had! Also the best hangover cure for me post-wedding. Thanks John! We stayed in July 2016 and we're sorry for the late review but we absolutely loved your place and the only thing we would do different next time is stay for a week! Thanks so much John & Sonya. You were such wonderful hosts and we wish you an amazing 2017. Regards, Eddie & Wanda

Room Tip: Hass Room was beautiful and at the end of the hall for more privacy

Perfect nights stay for first time B&B'ers. John and Sonya were truly wonderful hosts; friendly, extremely accommodating of our vigorous 6yr old and very knowledgeable about things to do/where to eat etc in the surrounds. Sent us off on our adventures with an amazing breakfast, with food allergies being no obstacle, Top notch!
