We stayed two nights at the Avocado Grove as we were going to the Woodford Folk Festival for a day. It was beautifully quiet there amongst the trees and birds, with a lovely view from the back deck. John, the host, was great. I don't really like B&B's because I worry that people will be too intrusive. John was friendly, very helpful with directions, etc, and we couldn't have asked for a better host. Breakfast was included and hubbie, a coeliac, was very comfortable and reassured that everything was gf. I'd happily go there again for our next Woodford adventure.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view over the valley and your own verandah.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We planned to walk a fair bit of the great walk around Mapleton /Montville /Flaxton so this was a perfect location. The thematic accommodation was well thought out and everything was neat and tidy. Tea/coffee and water bottles provided, even extra bottles for our walks. Lounge and bed were comfortable and we needed to rest well after the walk.
Breakfast, cooked by our hosts was excellent and served to an outdoor setting just outside our room. Great meal featuring bacon, eggs, and of course the local Avocado. We highly recommend this homely, relaxing location.

Room tip: Downstairs has a private room, but rooms in the house are all exceptional

Visiting Avocado Grove for the second time in the same year I was no less impressed than the first. As always the rooms were in beautiful condition and the welcome we received was more like family coming home than a B&B.
Thank you Sonya and John for another wonderful mini-break.
It was my partner's first stay at a B&B and he wondered why on earth people would go to an impersonal hotel when the service and quality accommodation is second to none.
Relaxing at night on the back deck with nibblies and a bottle of wine was divine to listen to the night birds calling.
So close to all that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer - don't bother going anywhere else.

Room tip: I have stayed in two rooms now. The King with separate bathroom and the Hass Queen with integrated ensuite. Both accommodations immaculate and comfortable.

I stayed at avocado grove with a couple of friends for a wedding in Maleny.
We had a wonderful time, John and Sonya were very accommodating and helpful. Sonya even helped up with some dress malfunctions haha
The room was cozy and perfect for our short but seeet visits. The room was very clean and amenities were of high standards.
The breakfast was a highlight! It was delicious and of quality that you would in any boutique cafe in the city. The views from the room and the balcony in which we had breakfast were so beautiful. I only wish we could have had more time to admire this beautiful B&B

Found this accommodation by accident online (and glad that we did) when attending a wedding. One of the best B&Bs that I have ever stayed at. The facility had fantastic views, with birds chirping which made the place extremely relaxing.

Breakfast each morning was perfect, with the staff being very accommodating on timings. The room was extremely good (we had the African themed room) with plenty of space for us to relax in.

The facility is in a black spot with little to no mobile phone reception, however, the staff had thought of this and there is high speed Wifi available. This allowed us to make messenger and skype calls when needed.

The staff were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area, and we found them a great help for suggestions on sights to see and things to do. All in all it is a fantastic place to stay and we look forward to going back.

Room tip: Go for the African themed room!!!
