Enjoyed our two villas for two days!! Julie, Mar and the rest of the staff were excellent. Our boat going back to Bohol was very early and they were able to accomodate for our early breakfast. Will be back in the future for sure!

thank you so much for staying with us and we are very glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Villas. Our Villas are the only bali style rooms with their own pools and garden bathroom in Camiguin so we are happy that you got to enjoy their special ambience! Even though the bohol boat is very early (as is the first plane) we try and ensure that guests get a packed breakfast to take with them just to make the early start a little more bearable! We hope to see you once again in our slice of paradise.

We booked 2 rooms and were excited due to the wonderful reviews. The place was wonderfully set,quiet, lush gardens, beachfront (although not inviting. We were informed upon checking in that for any questions, we have to walk to the front desk or call via cellphone since their intercoms have not been set up from typhoon (months ago).
The rooms were clean but no amenities at all except for 2 towels and a shampoo bottle. When soaps were requested, it took two tries before they came up with 2 spray bottles containing dishwashing liquid passing off as handsoap and shampoo as body wash. (see pictures). We also requested for hair dryer and was informed that there is only 1 hairdryer in the entire resort!!! The reception desk seems very tentative in their answers and not quite informative about places to enjoy or see. It was a very disappointing stay and definitely would not recommend or go back.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We take all criticism very seriously and do our best to rectify any faults as best we can. We pride ourselves on our services and amenities and are always open to criticism and ways that we can improve. We held a staff meeting on receiving your review to see how we can improve and address the issues you raised. I sincerely apologise for the replacement hand soap and shower gel coming in spray bottles - this is not acceptable and shouldn't have been given to you and the staff member who did that has been disciplined - it was however genuine hand soap not detergent as you stated and shower gel was provided as there was already conditioning shampoo in the bathroom. - However - the staff member did apologise to you and say it was only a temporary measure as the bottles needed replacing and the replacements were arriving later in the day and would be replaced as soon as they arrived. You accepted the apology and told them it was not a problem for you so we were a little surprised you have chosen to make this the focus of your review. You will be pleased to know that I have since ordered replacement shampoo and shower gel dispensers for all rooms and have replaced the green gel for white to ensure that there is no confusion with the gel for detergent. You will also be pleased to know that there are now hairdryers in every room. You mention that there are no amenities in the room apart from towels and shampoo, we were a little concerned to hear this as our rooms are supplied with a full complement of amenities such as Beach Towels, sanitary napkins, Complimentary Mini Bar, Welcome Gift, Tea and Coffee making facilities, fridge, satellite TV, we also provide an extension wire, bug spray, mosquito zapper and emergency light. Our room compendium also lets you know that we have additional toiletries such as lotion, shaving supplies, toothbrush, sun screen, slippers etc available on request. On checking with the staff and the housekeeping records these amenities were all in your room and replaced as necessary, so I am concerned that you thought the rooms do not have any amenities and am a little unclear as to what you are referring to, so please feel free to contact me separately to let us know what else you think we should have provided that would have made your stay more enjoyable. I have reinforced with staff to make sure that rooms are fully equipped for every guest. I have also reinforced with reception staff the need to be super friendly and responsive to all guests to ensure that everyone feels welcome from the moment they arrive at the resort to the moment they leave. We try very hard to do the best that we can to provide the best service and are always open to ways to improve and ensure our guests enjoy their stay, so we hope that you can see from this response that we have taken your issues seriously, resolved them where we can and have strategies in place to ensure we do better in the future.

We stayed in Balai sa bai last march 2018 for almost 10 days.We love the place so much,friendly and warm staff from the reception and the rest of the crew.Not a single day was boring for us,were always looking forward every morning of that lovely breakfast prepared as wish and the beautiful view of the resort.In the morning were beeing waken up by those humming birds.In the afternoon we love that pool bar,sitting almost more than an hour with the lovely sunset view and the horizon.We will be back again in this beautiful and lovely resort.Salamat kaayo Cocoy and Aldrin and the rest of the staff.Raymund ,Zürich 2018

We will be back soon balai sa bai-bai.. our stay was worthwhile..thanks to all the staffs of the resort for the warmest camiguingnon welcome..biggest thanks to their manager "Mar" for the for the excellent hospitality..so far the best resort we have visited..will recomend to other couple friends..see u again soonest camiguin.

It was a great stay in this resort, all their amenities were good and i enjoyed all of those things. The staff where very accommodating and friendly to us specially their manager Mr. Marnold L. Dagondon "Mar" who really gave his time to accommodate us. It's an awesome feeling to sleep in a nice room that there is a pool in front of it. The beach was just a walk from it and you can feel refresh. The food was so elegant in presentation and delicious that its just worth the price on it. I even want to stay longer in this resort but sad to say that my vacation leave was almost end and I need to leave this place. When I arrived here in my work place I shared my experience on that resort to my colleague and they find it interesting and they also include it in their bucket list for traveling by next year. It was fulfilling dream to be in that resort Balai Sa Baybay.
