The staff are cold and unknowing. they never had answers to our questions., not even what time the masses are. they do not empty the open trash bins in the CR, regularly.WORST, there are at least 2 rats in rm no. 11. I had to throw the food presents I bought because they were crawling on top of them, the lanzones smelled rat urine. our bread showed traces of nibbling.the place is really by the shore that you can hear the waves. it could have been a lullaby but since the walls were thinly made of bamboo,we can also hear the snoring at from the other room. hence, you can hear 3 things in the silence of the night --- waves, snoring and the squeaks of the rats. there are big holes where the rats can enter. i wondered how this resort passed the supposedly high standards of booking agents. have they inspected the sites they are recommending? they do not have airport shuttle even though they bragged about it as an amenity.

Place is good and the island of Camiguin itself is a oaradise on earth! Must visit! But the Caves resort is just overpriced, especially the backpackers rooms without private bathroom at all and scary wooden floor made of bamboo ready to collapse...
If u want the get better rooms in this place you have to pay at least triple the price!
Surely can find better deals around.

I loved staying here at Caves Dive Resort. The delicious food on the munu especially dried fish with fried egg for breakfast. The lovely airconditioned self contained rooms. The lovely clean beach's especially the one overlooking White Island which is a wonderful afternoon boat trip. The touring around the island of Camiguin to The Sunken Cemetery, the huge Katibawasan Falls, the hot springs and also the cold springs make this avwonderful 4 night stay. I especially loved the friendly welcoming staff.

Stayed here for 5 nights. I have no complaints with my room, location or price. Place was very clean and good location if you have a scooter. Main point is lack of interest of staff. I enquired about diving and hiking but due to the lack of interest and response shown back I used another nearby resort for both. Food at restaurant wasn't the best and more expensive than other places nearby. I felt more of a burden than a customer when you went for a coffee or meal.

Here i have stay 2 times the last years and its perfect for both back packers and other want calm hotel with moderate price. Food is ok and they serve both breakfast and dinner. From here its lovely view over white island, special in the morning when the sun light up the reef around it. Its also near white island and i take banka (pump boat) directly from hotel beach. Here they have room for all need, small cheap bambu room and more expensive cottage with air condition. Good place to stay when you want explore island, here is near to many nice place on Camiguin.
