Here i have stay 2 times the last years and its perfect for both back packers and other want calm hotel with moderate price. Food is ok and they serve both breakfast and dinner. From here its lovely view over white island, special in the morning when the sun light up the reef around it. Its also near white island and i take banka (pump boat) directly from hotel beach. Here they have room for all need, small cheap bambu room and more expensive cottage with air condition. Good place to stay when you want explore island, here is near to many nice place on Camiguin.

I love this place. The staff were very accommodating. The place is very quiet and no noise around, its relaxing..But they don't have pool. The foods are delicious but too expensive for the service charge everytime you eat. They have their own pumpboat to bring their costumers to White Island.

Stayed here for a four nights in a nice air-con room with cable TV. The hotel is centrally located near to airport, port and main town. Nice breakfast options and dive shop on site (Johnny's). Also close to a lot of other attractions - hot springs, volcano hike, waterfalls etc. Also has water front location for sunset views,

We originally planned to stay for three nights but had to change at the very last minute to two nights, and they were nice enough not to charge us for the night we weren't able to stay. On the map, it shows the location as beachfront but we were very disappointed to find out they don't have an actual beach, as they built a cement drop-off, probably because the beach is already caving in, as it was evident with the other resorts.

We stayed in a fan cottage, and since it was made out of wood, air circulated and we didn't feel hot at all. Breakfast was good because they let you choose from their menu with PHP 500 credits (about USD 11.)

It is accessible from the main road encircling Camiguin, but be wary to stay out too late as the road leading to the resort is not lit.

My adult son and I booked into the Caves Dive resort after spending five nights in Cagayan de Oro on Mindanao island.

After the energy burning experience of Cagayan de Oro we were looking for a peaceful retreat to relax, swim, enjoy good food and generally enjoy the local scene.

The gardens at Caves are an oasis of luxuriant plantings of flowering shrubs and of course the ever present coconut trees.

The units are spaced in such a way that they feel individual and private.

When wanting a cool drink( s) and some local content in the day or evening we made use of the very nice bar and restaurant which is waterfront and raised up to a second level that enables you to look out to White Island and over the ocean to the west for amazing sunsets.

The staff were delightful and obliging, pleased to make our visit an enjoyable time.

There is a lot of local activity there, it being the launching place for of pleasure craft and dozens of fishermen who venture out at first light to ply their trade.

As the name implies it has the facility of providing all that is required to enjoy some diving over the many reefs located offshore.

The town of Mambajao is very close and a great place to explore the markets.

Would I go back to Caves if I go back to Camiguin Island? Definitely .

Room Tip: choose a room in the gardens
