We enjoyed a 2 night stay (Sunday-Tuesday) and absolutely loved it. The staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful- particular shout out to the waitresses and bar staff who were outstanding (I worked in the A La Carte catering industry for 15 years and I'm quite particular when it comes to service- and the staff here were all excellent, nothing was too much trouble). The food was fabulous, we enjoyed a 4 course dinner on our first night and then a 7 course taster menu on our second. Breakfast was good - we would both recommend the salmon and scrambled egg over the Derbyshire, delicious. From here we walked in to Hope, Castleton and to Peveril Castle. We stumbled on a cavern to the right side and at the back of the castle and went on a spectacular walk- one of our most favourite and very unexpected adventures whilst in the Peak District for a few days. The hot tub, pool, steam room and sauna were all a blessing after a long days walking! We stayed in room 19 and we thought our room was gorgeous! A huge thank you to all of the team for looking after us and making our short trip special.

Room Tip: Room 19 was excellent, spacious and lovely bathroom

My sisters and I booked a two night stay to celebrate a special birthday and just have some time to chill together. Lose Hill House certainly fitted the bill for this. We stayed in a beautiful family room with clean fresh decor and linen and with room to spread out. It was a boiling hot weekend and it was so lovely to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi before dinner. The grounds are well kept and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the staff, from reception to bar and table staff were polite, welcoming and above all seemed happy to be there.

Room Tip: Family rooms are suitable for 4 adults as well as parents and children.

We were very exited on approaching the hotel for my wife’s 50 birthday having read so much about loose house and we were not disappointed.Easy check in and went to our room which was no 22 family room as we had our dog and this and this was the only one of two available.Great room with two bedrooms and a lounge, very clean with great toiletries. Our room had two entrances one directly outside and one into the hotel.we stayed two nights and had dinner on both. The food is amazing all ingredients were fresh beautifully presented and the same for breakfast.the views from the hotel are spectacular and we walked on three days and there are plenty to choose from.We used the hot tub and pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. As the weather was so glorious and we had our dog with us we ate outside. The staff here are fantastic so polite and well informed,a special thanks to O from Thailand who went beyond the call of duty.will return
