It was a pilgrimage trip to Thiruchendur n choosing this hotel was the right thing we did. It's located on the NH road connecting thiruchendur from tuticorin. Though there were no shops or anything around, we didn't find it difficult as it was a short trip. They have 2 restaurants n a gym as well. Their breakfast buffet was flawless n the service was awesome. One good example is during breakfast they had only muskmelon juice in the buffet display but when I asked if there was any other juice available, the person who was handling the buffet went out of his way to make orange juice for my entire family and that gesture was amazing. Also, Manikandan at the front office was one person I contacted for every query and request and he handled it all well. Overall it's a great hotel n they have a great bunch of staff members. Appreciate it!

There were 2 chairs in the room - do not understand the reason why they were kept there. Both of them were broken and did not have 2 of the 4 wheels each. Thankfully did not sit on it and injure myself.

The room looked and felt like a very old room repainted and remodeled - and not like a GRT property at all.

And let me not get started on the food - dosa batter was worst ever, bread toast was burnt black and served nor were the other items any tasty or good.

Everyone in the establishment right from the chauffeur who picked us up from the station, the guard at the entrance of GRT's Regency was courteous and friendly. The charges are reasonable. Room ervice was good. Thanks to Mr. Vasudvev, the Manager who took good care of transportation/stay. I Look forward to my next visit/stay here. Will also recommend to my friends.

Good place to stay, value for money, courteous staff, good restaurant. Conveniently located to my place of work. Would recommend GRT to my friends and colleagues. Food is excellent with a good selection of breakfast.

Room tip: The AC in the rooms should be serviced so that the temperature controls work better.
