Poorly run campsite, with the owner looking for rule breakers as he regularly cruised the sites. Be careful after mid-afternoon as he would likely blow over the limit for DUI. It was a little weird having the patrols carry on till well into the night. No facilities available such as small store, ice, washrooms, showers, or communal shelter or barbecue. It was also obvious that neither children nor dogs were welcome. Not to worry Brian & Nancy; we'll never be back!

A very unwelcome welcome! Very poor boat launching! Brian told us to move some beach chairs and a couple of logs to put our boat into the water! We managed that but had to pay a marina down the way to take it out! water was too shallow! First night brian was pounding on our door telling us we tied up on the wrong side of the dock Go move it! it was almost dark!!! Next day we toured other parks! Seems everyone has had complaints told to them of cedar bay and brian! The park was clean and the beach/broken down dock area might have held some rundown rustic charm if not for the dirty half inflated floaties all over the place! For whom i don't know! They dont like kids anymore than they like 12 year old half blind golden retrievers!!!!Brian missed his calling as a cop! Drives around in his golf cart with waaaay to many red solo cups...just looking for trouble....If you don't have kids...if you don't have a dog...if you don't have a boat and love being chaperoned and monitored then this is the place to be...for us....NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!TRUST ME ON THIS ONE|!!! Check out Schroeder Resort or Mirror Lake...just down the road a bit and lovely people to deal with...next trip!

Wow....we have never experienced such a rude man in our many years of camping. Pulled in to what seemed like a beautiful spot with a few seemingly unoccupied rvs. After our short experience there, the people were probably hiding in their trailers from the owner! The owner, whose was visibly drunk, came over in his golf cart and watched us back up. He drove away and we decided to move our trailer a little bit to make better use of the space. He watched us from afar, then came over and told us we should let him back it up. He then said " This is getting ridiculous, you should just leave! He accused us of tearing up his campsite??!! I think we are talking a time frame of about 5 minutes! So we left......Gladly! After reading other reviews from people with similar experiences I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Cedar Bay. We have never experienced such beauty and breath taking scenery anywhere that we have stayed before Cedar Bay. We were only going to stay 6 days but ended up staying 3 weeks, just couldn't seem to leave ! The RV resort is spotless and our little yorkie enjoyed going for walks with my husband and I along the path by the lake. Very spacious sites and can you believe it Free firewood supplied daily by our hosts Brian and Nancy. We ended up becoming friends with Brian and Nancy and can hardly wait to return next summer, they truly are wonderful people. We miss them already. Thanks for a wonderful time. Kevin and Sandy

I must say..after reading the negative reviews..I was blown away..My family and I have never experienced such breathtaking views and hospitality...Cedar Bay Rv has been the highlight of our summer vacation..we will be coming here every summer. Beautiful, serene, breathtaking, very clean.
On top of it all,our hosts Brian and Nancy were so welcoming, brought our children hot cocoa each night..and fresh fire wood for the campfire..We have stayed at many parks in B.C..and Cedar Bay is by far our families.."to go" spot. LOVE this place...Thank you Nancy and Brian for the gracious hospitality.
