We visited for the weekend in our Caravan with 2 children (aged 9 and 14) and met friends there. We found Cotswold View to be one of the best sites we've visited.

The grounds were beautifully laid out with spacious pitches. There are lots of things to do for the children (of all ages)...climbing frames, swings, zip wire, bowling alley, table tennis, football pitch, tennis courts, farm animals to look at ...spoilt for choice! It was also dog friendly, with a lovely woodland walk. There is also a nice 15/20 minute walk to Charlbury (complete with a choice of dog friendly pubs).

The on-site restaurant 'The Shed' was fab...it obviously has a good reputation as it was very busy! We had delicious breakfasts and lunches there...what a shame it isn't open in the evenings too, I'm sure it would do a roaring trade!

The only thing I would change would be the showers...although they were spotlessly clean, the cubicals were a little cramped, it was rather chilly and they were generally in need of an update.

We had a great weekend at Cotswold View and will most definitely be back!

We held our week event in our caravans at this site in October. We were all warmly greeted on arrival and given the essential information about the site and services. All our pitches were well proportioned and gave good access to toilet blocks. Our first night was pre-arranged to enjoy a fabulous meal which was well served in the lovely Old Shed restaurant that serves breakfast and lunches daily or snacks through the day.
The site offers many attractions for families with a range of animals to view, walks through the woods, a trim track, games including table tennis in a covered barn or tennis court may be hired. Saturday evening allows you to save cooking as the mobile fish and chip arrives for teatime serving. Papers and freshly baked croissant or pain au chocolat are available every morning. So the services are really great and the location means it is easy to access many of the Cotswold's attractions. We also used the local bus services to reach Oxford, Blenheim, Chipping Norton, Burford and Witney from the village. It is also easy to access walks and a number of these are posted in the information area. Dogs are welcome and can be exercised in specified areas.

First family camping trip in the U.K. With the kids. What a fantastic campsite!
The staff were really friendly, the children were able to make happy childhood memories running around.
The breakfast in the cafe was superb. The toilet blocks do need updating a bit however. We will definitely return.
