“San Rafael River Adventure, Experience Nature and Adventure in One”
Reviewed February 22, 2017

San Rafael River Adventure gave us a nice place to experience both relaxation and recreation. It has a beautiful surrounding to enjoy and exciting activities to try. We had a memorable stay at the resort giving us unique accommodation and exciting adventures.

The accommodation is very unique that has a forest-inspired feel. The Glass Cottage is made of one-way glass walls. The interiors are not totally visible from the outside but still offers unobstructed view of nature from the inside. There are also window blinds that can be simply pull down if needs privacy.

Recently stayed at the glass treehouse (bfast included). I booked this for P15k to have a romantic time at the private jacuzzi however i wasnt informed that it is not really working well. helloooo!

No intercom or phone in room so I spent a lot of mobile calls to reach our butler who infairness was helpful. Would be better if they find more enthusiastic butlers. Food was good except the very very very salty eggplant omellete.

During an afterlunch intimate situation, we were very surprised to see other guests walking around our glass treehouse taking photos laughing chatting around our balcony...hoping they don't dare enter since we were not clothed.

Place has lot's of potential but needs to work on some things.

Looking for the perfect getaway without having to drive for too long? Then SRRA is the place for you! I saw this through a Facebook ad and got curious about its amenities. It looked so great in the photos that I wondered if it looked like that in reality.

Oh man, it did and better! I'm not sure about the rates for tents and glamping as my family booked a glass cottage. The cottage is priced on the steep side, but it's an experience that's definitely one for the books.

As you arrive, you'll see these gorgeous houses spread throughout the vast land of SRRA and wonder if that's really the room you'll be staying in. You'll be told that you're right and will be led inside one. There's a queen sized bed and a single bed atop the restroom which you can get to via a ladder. The sheets are silk so if you're uncomfortable with that (as was I since I'm not used to it, I suggest you bring your own pillows/ pillow cases and blankets).

The staff was really accommodating, especially with our meals. Since there aren't any restaurants nearby, you will have to fully rely on their kitchen. They serve great food with good enough quantity for the price.

Okay now the activities. There's are ATV's, paddle boards, jet ski's, kayaks, a pool, a trampoline floating on the river, and an infinity jaccuzi, I'm not sure if I missed anything more. The river's not at all clear so get your scrubs ready after swimming in it, man. And if you get too tired with all the fun, go ask the front desk to call in a masseuse, and have yourselves a relaxing massage. An altogether fantastic place to bring your friends, family and significant other.

Room Tip: If you're staying in a glass cottage, ask for one that's not too near the parking lot!

It was easy falling in love with this resort. My friends and I had a totally great time. Two nights were long enough for us to savor the place but too short to make more memories. Trying out the different activities is a must as simply lounging in your cottage would make time seem to move so slow.

We were glad to have come here. We have nothing but good words for the resort, for the staff and the kind owners who welcomed us and mingled with us guests. The resort is definitely one for the books as its vicinity within Manila is superb. More improvement is underway but the resort is already a standout!

I have nothing but good things to say about our stay in this resort. My weekend with friends was definitely one for the books. We got to relish our stay in 2 of 4 beautifully designed glass cottages, got to bathe in their gorgeous infinity pool, and got to eat homemade meals that were nicely prepared by the courteous staff of SRRA. We also enjoyed basking under the sun, as we got to try their ATVs, Paddle Boards, Jetskis and more. We also got to relax, as we sailed through Angat River courtesy of the resort's floating raft (river cruise).

All in all, it was a memorable time with friends. Our time there was definitely one that I would love to experience again.
