We've been to the Hotel Forum, Foiano, a number of times, bringing groups of Canadian students travelling by motorcoach.
The large, open lobby makes for easy entrance, and welcome respite after riding on the highway. Hotel staff work efficiently to provide all the room keyes. (It helps to send the list ahead of time by fax.) A dip in the pool in late afternoon refreshes everyone.
Dinner in the dining room is good, usually very hearty, and made from local produce, fresh and well prepared.
Rooms are clean, cool, and quite adequate for overnight stays. Evenings are very quiet.
The setting gives convenient highway access to Florence, or Cortona, or other destinations in Tuscany and Umbria.
We recommend Hotel Forum, Foiano, for groups, or for travellers who want a place to stay while touring around Tuscany.
