Pilot called Jai. Really great trip in a 4 seater Cessna. Mostly at about 1500 ft so the views stunning. See the Jim Jim falls and all the other falls in the area. A super way to spend a hour.

The flight gave us a much better perspective about the park and its surrounding. Something else than only tourring with the car.
Price paid is ok and not overrated for what you get to se. I Would not hesitate to rebook it again.
Many comments are also given during the flight from the pilot.
We did the one hour sunset flight.
Really well worth it!

We decided to splash out on a one hour flight as we had been advised this was the best way to see Kakadu. We also preferred to have a commentary that was live, not a recorded one as offered by another company. Jai, our pilot, gave us a wonderful tour of the southern end of the park as the waterfalls had already started to flow (early for the season). He gave us terrific views of the falls, flying over in both directions so we could get good photos. His commentary was most interesting and we were able to ask questions once we had landed. My husband had been unable to follow our path on the map - this was because the brochure we had been given at our accommodation covered the dry season path which goes north. We mentioned this to Anthony who told us, not unreasonably, that most people wanted to see the falls and that they could not be held accountable as to which brochures people received. We were therefore most surprised to receive a call from Kay offering us a free half hour flight the following morning to cover the northern part. It really was extremely nice of the company to do this for us and we gratefully accepted. Our pilot was Jai again and, again, he gave a great commentary with lots of photo opportunities. Thank you Anthony, Kay and Jai for such a fantastic service. Highly recommended.

We took the one hour scenic flight over Kakadu yesterday. The entire experience was positive; from the inquiry about the flight, the courteous & professional interaction with the staff member, Anthony and the actual flight with our pilot, Patrick.

This is one of the best ways to appreciate the vast expanse and the splendour of Kakadu especially when certain areas are closed off due to seasonal conditions.

The unseasonal rains in September (dry season) this year meant that Jim Jim Falls was flowing at the end of the dry season. The scenic flight enabled us to see Jim Jim and our pilot gave us a few views of it so we could appreciate its beauty from a few different angles. We also saw Twin Falls and many other beautiful sights.

The Scenic Flight Company (AAA Charter) aircraft was well maintained and clean. Each of us had a head phone to cut out the engine noise and to listen to the commentary. Patrick gave us all the safety instructions upfront and then provided us with wonderful information about the landscape, its transformation over time, the various attractions, the Ranger Mine and Aboriginal Culture. He had a good sense of humour which is always a plus point with any travel guide.

My family and I enjoyed the scenic flight tremendously and would recommend this company without hesitation.

We wouldn’t normally splash out on something like this, but it’s pretty hard to get a grip on Kakadu without going up to have a look at the lie of the land from above. And we were very pleased we did – you just can’t begin to appreciate the scale and diversity of the place from the ground. We had an excellent and very personable pilot, who provided a very helpful commentary in a most professional manner – if only I could remember his name! Jabiru Airport is conveniently located not so far away from Jabiru itself and the wonderful Kakadu Bakery. We choose the 30 minute flight, which was plenty long enough and just as well as I was beginning to feel a tad queasy by the end, though everyone else on the plane was just fine and dandy.

Hi John,
Thanks for the kind words.
I've gone back over our bookings and located your pilots name - it was Charlie.
Well done Charlie, and thanks John.
