Great lunch here. Really enjoyed the sampler plate for appetizers. The portions were generous. We would recommend it.

A quiet, charming young couple (Theodore and Arappi) run this newish restaurant, with his Cretan-moustached father looking on. The service was as good as the food - genuinely local and delicious. The villagers seemed to like going there to banter too, usually a good sign. Very good value too. Highly recommended!

If you like real original cretan food, this is one of the best restaurants of crete. All restaurants say that they are "traditional", but are touristical. This restaurant is so good, the quality of the food is excellent and the owners and family are so kind. Unbelievable!! I hope they will stay the same with Greek music.

We saw this place on the side of the road and it looked so inviting that we stopped for coffee. This is a restaurant not a coffee shop but Theodore (he and his wife own the place) was more than happy to give us drinks only. We asked for something sweet to go with the coffee, he apologized and said that they don't have cakes or sweets. He brought us our coffees and along with them the complementary desserts that he usually gives to people after a full meal. What warm hospitality. I'll go back to try his food, if it's anything like his hospitality it will be great!
