Stayed here for 3 nights in July. it was heaven. So peaceful. The house was equipped with everything you could want.
Silvia left a welcome basket of coffee/bread juice etc.
We used the huge bbq and relaxed with Mt Pico behind us and fantastic views of Sao Jorge in front of us.
We would definitely go back but would hire a car this time.More
We stayed in the lovely Casa Lagar, and seriously...can I buy this property? As I'm writing this we are enjoying a glass of local wine on our terrace looking out over the ocean and towards Sao Jorge island. The house is lovely to see from the outside and full of authentic details. Washing machine, fully equipped kitchen. And so clean and well maintained! We stayed with two, but with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and two livings it can easily house 4. It's a lovely quiet place with a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. It felt like home immediately. And the front office manager Silvia was full of great tips to help us find our way around the island. If you come to Pico, look no further!

Beautiful from the outside, full of history house. But beware, no central heating, very humid, smells humidity, no AC, very small rooms, short bed. I stayed in Adega Açoreana. Not my style, but somebody who likes to sleep in a old museum might.

The little houses are beautifully conserved and have every comfort you would need and more. Wonderful hosts and welcome. Staying here you feel a part of Picos history. The little village is peaceful and local, you will need a car to get around to other areas

We stayed in Casa do Farol which was right down near the water. The staff made us feel immediately welcomed with wine, bread, strawberries and chocolates waiting when we arrived
The house was wonderfully clean and well decorated - it was like being at home without the clutter
A special experience- we highly recommended it

WAUW, the lady who ownes the houses is very very friendly, she explained us everything.
We had the house close to the sea with the original interiour. It was amazing, at night we heard the waves, very calm... A experience never to forget...
