Perfect for a honeymoon

My husband and I came to the Azores for our honeymoon. We stayed for 6 nights at the Casa da Vinha and it was absolutely perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer. The stone cottage was so romantic and everything was in immaculate condition. We loved having an outdoor patio/garden where we could relax from the day's activities before dinner and the view was fantastic. We stayed on two islands during our visit and we loved Pico for it's relaxed pace and natural beauty. (At times we felt like we had the whole island to ourselves.) Both Jose and Sylvia were excellent hosts helping to arrange any tours or activities that we were interested in. Jose in particular went above and beyond to help us out. I would love to come back again.

The most amazing stay!

I like to say Adegas do pico gives meaning to the word hospitality.
In Pico, there's no better option. The houses are clean and beautiful!
Jose is amazing, and will make sure your stay is unforgettable.
His tips and suggestions really makes for a fabulous stay.

Charming house, spectacular view, super helpful host!

We stayed at Casa do Garajau for three nights in May 2015. When we checked in, Jose spent about half an hour giving us great tips on what to see and where to eat on the island. He also offered to make calls to set up whale-watching tours and other activities. We really appreciated it! The house was adorable and the views were amazing. So peaceful! Also, although there is no wi-fi in the house, the check-in house is a quick drive or ten-minute walk and has wi-fi you can use while sipping complimentary drinks in the lounge area. It's also worth noting that while this house is in a beautiful spot right on the water, it's only a quick drive or ten-minute walk to the town center, where there's an ATM, market, and fantastic restaurant (ask Jose for the tip - I forget the name). The town of Prainha is basically in the middle of the north side of the island, so it's not more than a half hour drive to just about everything else on the island. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and stay here again if we're ever lucky enough to return to the Azores!

Wonderfully Relaxing with Amazing Views

We stayed at Casa do Garajau for three nights and wished it had been longer. We loved the cottage and it had everything we needed but the best thing about it was the view. On the day we arrived there were dolphins playing in the sea. We spent a lot of time just gazing towards Sao Jorge hoping to see them again but they didn't reappear. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge our batteries and when we're having a bad day at work this is a place we will think about and wish we were there.

"Home away from Home"

Houses we rented were beautiful, rustic, well kept homes and very clean. Sylvia was very helpful, accommodating and very friendly. Love the scenery and beaches, around the area, it's a great relaxing place for anyone. Highly recommended!
