We arrived after a long day and decided to check the menu. Unfortunately we were told that it would be difficult for us as that evening there was a set menu which did not cater for my vegetarian husband. After a discussion, fortunately we speak French, they came up will an acceptable compromise. The room in an annex was beautiful and very comfortable. The views were amazing. The bathroom while very modern and equipped as a wet room was less than successful. Everything got wet. I was concerned about us slipping as the floor remained wet all night. Our meal was beautiful and the wine excellent. The initial worries were removed. the Staff were very pleasant, and helpful. Unfortunately I was unwell that night and did not take breakfast.

Room tip: It is best to telephone ahead and check if you have specific dietry needs the hotel is a little remote

We stayed at the hotel for one night in June 2018 on our way to Carcassonne. This is a cosy small family run hotel. We had dinner and the food was excellent. Three of us had the cassoulet and the fourth one had some fish and both dishes were fantastic. The breakfast was also delicious. The only downside at this hotel/restaurant is that the wifi is pretty poor quality. The staff (the couple that own and run the place) are really nice and do their best to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

A comfortable and pleasant hotel with very welcoming owners. The food is good and in particular you should order before arrival the regional specialty, cassoulet. The location is peaceful and attractive.

If visiting Carcassonne this is a far better bet than staying in the inaccessible old citadel, or the not very pleasant new town that sprawls around this fantastic medieval site. Driving into Carcassonne is quick and parking is plentiful.

Beautiful location and great choice of wines and good value menu. Be prepared for no choice though, there is one menu and one menu only. No flexibility at all so not good for vegetarians, pescatarians or anyone with special dietary requirements or preferences. If you're an eclectic eater then definitely worth a visit.

We are spending a few days in Langudoc, near to Aragon. We booked Saturday evening meal here. a simply wonderful experience. everything from the moment you arrive until you leave were memorable. At the table we had a selection of home made nibbles, olives, mushroom paste, small crispy gateaux, soft cheese and divine home made bread. The set menu followed and came to E30 each! plus drinks. I wish we lived close by this place!!!
they do a magnificent "Cassoulet" regional duck, pork and bean casserole however it must be ordered 48 house in advance. The locals had pre-ordered and not surprising either... We can thoroughly recommend this delicious experience to any serious foodie and can't wait to return...

Room tip: pre order the Cassoulet!
