Bluewave Hotel is the place to stay in Coron. The staff are very accommodating, doing everything they can to make your stay pleasant and pleasurable. We rented 3 rooms and the rooms are uniquely designed with concrete that amazingly looked beautiful and functional. The place is all white highlighting a nice contrast with the blue and cleanest swimming pool I've ever been in. Our stay came with free Pilipino or American breakfast on the third floor overlooking the town and waters of Coron. The hotel is 3 blocks from the 700+ stairs of Mt. Tapyas, a very nice hike with a 360 degrees commanding view of Coron. Go early in the morning before the sun rises to escape the heat. A 15 minutes tricycle ride will take you to the town proper for your boat and snorkeling tours. The hotel owner (sorry I forgot his name) stands right inside near the gate from 4 - 6 pm greeting his guests who were comimg back. I thought this was an awesome gesture! I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The best hotel we stayed in Philipines (with similar budget). Very friendly staff. Reception in hotel with a welcome drink, big clean rooms with air-con and fan, tv, sef.box, .... Clean pool, diferent towels for pool and island hoppings. Restaurant with a special atmosphere, with very good food and service.

The hotel is just a fee minutes walk to the town as well as to the Mt. Tapyas.

The staff were all warm and accommodating. They do everything they can to provide the needs of their guests.

Our room is a pool access room, everything is white and clean.
They make sure to make up our room everyday, so that when we get back after a long and tiring island hopping activities we will return to the our room and everything is organized.

The pool is always clean and warm.

Hats off to the receptionist Faye and Alex for doing an extra mile of helping us book our private boat for a half day tour and making sure everything is alright from the time we arrive to the time of our departure.

I will also give 5⭐️ for the food! Breakfast deliciously served on time. Presentation is perfect and the taste is superb.

Overall this place deserves to be on top of the list of hotels in Coron.
Thank you as well to the Korean owner for being hands on and interacting to customers/guest everytime.

PS. I love the motto: Always Clean•Always on Schedule•Always Smile

Feels like home away from home!

We stayed here for 2 nights in a 2nd floor room. The first floor rooms are pool access rooms. The hotel is new and fresh and the rooms clean and comfortable. The rooms have both air-conditioning and fan but no fridge or tea/coffee facilities. The pool is very nice but needs parasols as there is no shade. The staff are very good and helpful. The hotel will arrange airport transfers at a cost of PHP1,500 each way. Unfortunately they are still working on the hotel and we were awaken at 5.30am by the noise the builders were making on the 3rd floor. The restaurant/bar is on the 3rd floor and breakfast is served there. Curiously the builders stopped making the noise at 7.30am. Breakfast is included but you have to advise them the day before what you will be wanting and at what time you want it serving. Apparently the chef is part-time and only comes at the times he is required. Similarly if you wish to have dinner in the restaurant you have to let them know so they can book the chef but we never actually had dinner in the hotel. The hotel is not in a great location and from 3.30am onwards you are greeted with cock-a-doodle-doos from adjacent local houses. It seems cock fighting is a local sport and the cocks are tethered in the gardens. My son and his family stayed in a pool access room and apparently they are quieter as you can't hear the noise from the builders.

Room tip: Go for a pool access room.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I would like to say, Thank you for the other compliment but i think there is something wrong with your review our "Construction Workers" start working time at 7:30 am up to 5:00 pm NOT 5:30 in the morning sorry for the noise you have heard from outside, i hope you were aware of the hotel outside facilities, With regards to our "Airport Shuttle service" its NOT 1,500 each way it is only a minimal fee of 150 per person per way. (One hundred fifty pesos), Also for the FRIDGE facility we have that in each room of the hotel it is color BLACK that you'll see when you open the door; however the tea and coffee is available for free during our breakfast time only but after breakfast you can ordered tea or coffee for a minimal cost, and the other complaint were still working on it, I hope next time you can give an accurate review so the guest that would read your review will not mislead. Thank you have a good day!

Concern,
Faye.
