Balaibinda was central and very clean. We were concerned about noise but we were in a courtyard room and it was very quiet. The breakfast food was delicious and prompt which made it easy to keep to our schedule for tours. The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend if you are staying in Coron for a few days!

We booked for 5 days and 4 nights here. When we arrived at the hotel, I started to like everything. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was really nice. The food for the breakfast was good. The place is worth the price for it is satuated in the center of town but they didn't clean the room everyday. The previous guests before us, left some trashes and used cups but the staff didn't clean until we asked for. I was also bit shocked when I asked for the bottled water the following day and they told me, it's only for the first day. One of the staff in the front desk is quite rude. For the whole stay, we never saw her smiling and thanking the guests.

What I really didn't like is, we read a note in the front office desk about paying using credit card, it says there that guests who wish to pay using card must have to settle night before the check-out because the signal in the area is not good all the time. So we decided to settle night before but the staff told us that it's ok to settle following day. On the time we have to check out, the staff said that their terminal for the cards is "not working because there was no signal". It was not very convenient to run and look for a bank to withdraw some money and rushing to catch up for the flight. They have to be honest and dont fool their guests.

I booked a family room from Dec. 28 to Jan.1 and we came early and the lady on the counter informed me that the room was ready but we can't go unless we pay extra fee for early check in. We waited as I can't change the booking and Agoda already deducted the payment in my credit card so no choice for me and my family. After waiting more than 2 hours, one lady informed us we can go in. As we were so tired, we slept and when we woke up, we want to go out then we remembered no one gave us a room key. When I checked with the lady in the reception area (you have to go down by stairs), she said it was in our room. The person who accompanied us to the room never gave us the key. No customer's service or etiquette at all. At night, mosquitos have a feast biting all our legs. And in the morning breakfast, it is so bland and you will loose your appetite. I saw so many foreigners didn't even touch their meal. Imagine, how bad it is. We complained about mosquitos but no immediate action. No wi fi and no in house restaurant. We booked our boat trip outside which is much cheaper and more organized. This Lodge has no customer service or manners at all. There's a lot of hotel or lodge where you can comfortably sleep with out mosquito bites, with good breakfast and well trained staff.

Room tip: Don't stay on this place!

We loved our 6 night stay here.
Great location in the town centre and a very reasonable price all things considered. Very clean, modern and with very helpful staff.
Also near the port so you are the last collection on the transport for the boat trips so you avoid driving around from hotel to hotel collecting others = Bonus.

Stayed for 4 nights. Check in was smooth as well as the check out. Staff were polite and friendly.

Suprisingly, roadside rooms are not that noisy or am I just too tired from tours :)

My transfers were properly arranged and it is very convenient. There were issues with the A/c in my room as it gets off and on but being fixed right away.

Breakfast is simple silog meals and they will ask you the night before for your chosen food. Wifi is good at the lobby but not in the room. Note that Data for both Smart and Globe is also not stable.

Overall it was a great stay and will recommend to others.
