700 plus steps all in all to get to see full view of Coron. It was okay but going down after sunset is not safe as it's too dark, the steps are not even and there are not enough light post.

It´s a bit of step climb that will take you about 20 minutes at a good pace. Check out the sunset time and allow to be start climbing the stairs at least 45 minutes before the sunset so you can take some pics on your way up, rest if needed, ..

We climbed to the to of Mount Tapyas to get panoramic view of Coron bay and watch the sun go down. It is the best spot to go but unfortunately this is no secret so be sure to get your beers and head up early if you want a good spot.

Be aware that there are alot of steps leading to the top. But worth it.

To climb to the peak you have to trek the700+ steps. One is in for a perspiring leg workout. The step landings are lined with ambulant vendors selling their wares. One's you reach the top, you are treated to a good expansive view of the idyllic town, There is really nothing much to do up there but take a good selfie as evidence that you have conquered Mt. Tapyas .If Have you have knee problems this is not recommended.

It was definitely worth it to climb the 700+ stairs to the top of Mt. Tapyas. Go on a more clear day so you can see a beautiful sunset.
