Definitely a must do, one of the few around. The steps are plentiful, every local will boast about the 720 steps... Doesn't sound too bad... But by design it seems the steps are slightly higher than we're used to. I ran it out to the top, and it was taxing. 360 views from the top. Would be a great picnic brunch spot. Easily spend a morning or late afternoon with this activity. On the way up there are plenty of opportunities to catch your breath. Enjoy this one! Very accessible from Coron.

Just be prepared to walk up the flight of stairs, make sure to bring a bottle with you when you decide to come here. There is no entrance fee for this. You make take a tricycle to this destination but it will only take you to the starting point of the stairs. The view is wonderful once your on the top.

Climbing Mt. Tapyas is truly challenging but doable. Once on top, the breathtaking view of the waters and the islands that surrounds Coron offers a very spectacular backdrop of the sun rising in the morning or the sunset late in the afternoon.

This is a late review . We did a 3 weeks holiday in Palawan . We travelled from Manila to Puerto Princesa stayed in Puerto Princesa for a week then travelled by a van going to el nido then took a fast craft ferry to Coron. Mount Tapyas offer a very good view from the peak . Its having a very good stairs going to the peak . You must to climb the mountain before the sunset to see the beautiful sunset . I recommend this place to everybody who loves being fit .

We climbed up Mount Tapyas at dusk when it was getting a bit cooler.

There are a lots of steps and being hot and humid does make it more strenuous than it should be. Bring your camera and water!

At the bottom of the step is a small car park where the tricycles are waiting.
