The 10-15minutes trek was a bit hard especially if you don't do some stretching or not physically fit because the rough steps was really tiring but the scenic beauty of the lake will definitely take your breath away once you see it. Water is clear and not too cold... make sure not to do much swimming in here so you have more energy for snorkeling to other spots.
it was a very nice experience! After we entered the nice lagoon, we walked to Kayangan Lake, you have a nice overview to the sourounded islands!! Nice swim ;-)
Well worth the hike. Its a steep climb up the stairs, but the view at the top is amazing the lake is wonderful. Cool waters, shrimp, some needle fish, crystal clear blue waters. Was one of the highlights of the trip!
Tip: make sure to wear good shoes, the climb up an down is a bit steep and can get slippery with all the wet people going up and down. Also bring some water, you'll get thirsty from the climb and your jaw will drop from the beauty of the sights.
Coron, Palawan is in the northern part of the province. It's just a small town but the attractions are so wonderful! The place is very clean and one of the best destinations here is the Kayangan lake which is said to be the the cleanest and greenest lake in the Philippines..
cleanest lake in the philipiines but you got to take up some climbing skill to reach there,not suitable for young kids below 5 years old and senior citizens.
