Post lockdown excellent service

Despite a limited staff due to pandemic protocols, it seemed like the hotel was over staffed because of its excellent level of service which says a lot if hotel were running at 100% staff.

There were some previous reviews about bad food which i found untrue. Local restaurants prices were overpriced compared to the quality and presentation of the hotel food so much so that we ate all our meals at the here after viewing current outside options.

Guests numbers were within protocol percentage and anyone who was brave enough to visit during this transition period would have been handsomely rewarded with exclusivity of the facilities and focused attention of its staff.

Hotel location was perfect to see main sites. Our room was always clean and very comfortable.

Kudos to the hotel and its GM(who always was around to oversee operations and to greet guests) and i would definitely come back and would not be surprised if this favorable review remain the same after another visit.

Excellent facilities, clean rooms and service with a heart

Had a wonderful time in this hotel. It is my first time in coron and i am happy that we choose to stay in bacau resort hotel. The facilities are excellent: a pier to marvel at the sunset, nice lush gardens, spacious and very clean rooms, a cocktail bar that’s perfect for capping the day, and an all-day cafe that serves the best kare kare, grilled fish, pizza, and other classic favorites. But what makes the hotel superb is the staff who are all so helpful and polite. Our stay was perfect and i will not hesitate to refer this hotel to my friends. Will definitely return!

Fantastic Resort

My daughter and I stayed at this resort. Because of Covid19, our 4 night stay turned into 5. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They maintained all service including good food and cleanliness. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area is very peaceful and the pier for sunset was very relaxing. The manager, Gilbert was extremely helpful when flights were cancelled. Our driver, Rod took us to the airport, waited and assisted us with getting charter tickets. He also drove us back to the airport very early in the morning. Thank-you for everything.

Room tip: Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor have a nice view of the bay.

Amazing Staff!

My husband and I stayed at Bacau Bay for part of our honeymoon trip and I can not recommend it more! Very clean room, grounds and hotel. We felt safe the whole stay. Food was great! The staff was out of this world, so nice and welcoming! We left with new friends!! We had such a fun time visiting with them. We booked a tour thru the hotel and what a fun day we saw so many gorgeous sights, we had lunch on the resorts private island with incredible views and amazing food. The pier during sunset was one of my favorite spots! Highly recommend this spot!

Amazing stay

We booked Bacau Bay due to a cancelled trip because of covid19. This was an excellent decision as it’s not often you see such high service standards as well all facilities are in top.
Gilbert the GM of the hotel is leading by an example and I never met such a friendly and helpful gentleman, because of the situation we had canceled flights, almost closed airport etc. but every single time Gilbert was there to help, and the hotel booked us a private chartered flight when things was looking most dark.
We for sure would like to recommend this to anyone going to Coron.
