i just came back from Coron and it was an amazing experience. How ever, there are some things you need to take note of if you consider to book this hotel for a family of 6.
Accommodation: The hotel does offer the essential toiletries you need just like other hotels/resorts (towels, shampoo, soap, etc.). The beds are comfy, air conditioning is great, and the pool is nice. Our breakfast buffet is okay. The staffs are very friendly. They also offer tours and rentals for beach towels and snorkeling.
*Just to warn you, this hotel is not PWD/Senior friendly; it does not have elevators or ramps for wheelchairs. My room is on the 5th level, so I had to "hike" 70 steps to get to my room everyday.
Location: The hotel DOES NOT HAVE A BEACH FRONT. It's located on a hill top, closest to Mt. Tapyas. To get to the piers, make sure the tours you reserve offers a shuttle. What's nice about the location is that it's near the restaurants and bars. The quickest transport would be the trike. Take note of the schedules for the trike rides.
Overall: This is an ideal place if you're physically fit and can tolerate lots of stairs. I would go back again with my sister and cousins.More
