Not only the Accommodation is exceptional, from airport pick-up to welcome invitation from the staff, The place is so convenient and very accessible to town. The staff is very responsive, flexible and knowledgeable with the request made.
Definitely the worst hotel i ever stayed at! Staff are not really accomodating. Esp. the old woman manager. Very rude and sarcastic. Like a villain in a horror movie. Very inconsiderate and arrogant. Bed linens were not changed had we not told them to do so. Bathroom in our room was dirty and as if not scrubbed for a long time. Provided us with only 2 soap for 4 nights stay. Really thin cheap sheets with foul smell. Toilet smelled like sewer. Breakfast sucks! first time in coron and we have a terrible stay at this hotel. If i were you do not consider staying at this hotel
We stayed here for 4 nights, contrary to other reviews we found the staff extremely pleasant, each time we passed the counter or entered the hotel they would say hello.
The breakfast and unlimited filtered water was great, the rooms were clean, air conditioned and comfortable. When we put our 'please clean' sign on our room the room was cleaned for us.
The staff helped with booking tours and airport transfers.
We enjoyed the less than 5 minute walk to the main strip of shops. The furthest we had to walk to a restaurant was 1km but that's because it was a particular restaurant we wanted to try. There are many excellent restaurants and shops within 500-600m of the hotel and it's nice being off the Main Street where we found it to be a bit quieter overnight.
The only downfall was that there was no welcome drink as stated and we booked the deluxe room- which in the photos appears to be 1 queen bed when really it is 2 singles that can be pushed next to each other.
This is not a hotel it is more of a lodge/motel
Let me enumerate why you must or never consider this place
STAFF
Old woman is rude, arrogant, unprofessional and inconsiderate.
We stayed in this place for 5d/4n and paid 25k+ for 4 rooms! The moment we set foot in this place there was already an uninviting atmosphere. There was no greetings from the reception and staff and no welcome drinks either. The old woman told us to pay for extra nights since we have 3 children aged 5, 4 and 2 year old. Even if 5 year old below child is free if using existing bed. We we're told that how come we could'nt pay them because she thought we have a lot of money. She bad mouth us to our travel agency and refused to give our breakfast in our last day of stay. She intentionally lock our door so we could'nt come in to our room. To makes matter worst she sent a police officer and complaint us. She threatened us that she will hold our flight going home. And that she will file a formal complaint to the court. In the end, i signed the credit card receipt under duress to end our misery. It was such a terrible and stressfull stay for us.
LOCATION
Near cemetery. Far from town proper. Very inconvenient for group/family
ROOMS
Did not change our bed sheets even if you requested to clean up the room. Sheets to thin and have unpleasant smell. Did not replenish soap in our 5 days of stay. Dirty bathroom tiles. Our little one was bitten by bed bugs. Cockroach in the sink.
Pay a little extra and stay away from this motel. If you do not want your vacation to be ruined.
You have been warned.
Staff are very helpful and quick on their toes. Rooms are clean. Bedsheets smell fresh. TV has lots of cable channels. You can walk to the town proper or ride a tricycle for P10. Better than the accommodations in the town proper which is noisy. The kitchen staff can cook dinner for you at P150/kilo. We left hotel at 530am for an early flight back to Manila but they still prepared our breakfast.
