Stopped for evening meal and lunch and both meals were very good, Nicely cooked and presented. We had better and not as good meals elsewhere. It's hard to have a bad meal in this area.

Service was excellent, being friendly and efficient.

The Pain Perdu is a must!

On a surprisingly warm October morning we walked up to the Chateau and as a reward for the exercise had lunch here. Service is good and highlights local produce. Good range of drinks and very pleasant place to stop. Public car park next door so very convenient.

We had the 3-course €16.50 Perigord Menu which was good. Unfortunately, the skin on the duck leg was soggy. The service was good.

We enjoyed a delightful and good value lunch - 19 euros for 3 delicious courses with a drink - in lovely surroundings. Quick and attentive service. Best meal of our holiday.

This is one superb restaurant. We sat under the trees in the courtyard and had the 14 euro menu which comprised a drink, a salad and a dessert. The dessert was the best chocolate profiteroles I have ever tasted! My husband had an excellent Creme brûlée. The salad was a local Perigordian one very tasty and beautifully prepared. The menu was extensive and everything was tempting. We shall go there again. It followed a walk round the neighbouring chateau and gardens.
