Emoha is a newer (1 year), small 6-room husband/wife-run boutique. Our family of 4 stayed in 1 of their 2 family rooms. With a split level, the kids stayed in the upstairs 2 single beds while we escaped downstairs in the double bed. The rooms and entire place, as well as the beach in front, are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff all try hard and the owners are actively involved. We ran all activities (pickups/dropoffs/whalesharks/multiple treks) through Emoha and all very well organized with great drivers and guides. Yes, you do pay a little more going through your resort rather than 3rd parties elsewhere, but that is normal and convenience and quality are worth this for us as EMoha came through A+ on all excursions. We had our 2 kids do their first ocean dives and Emoha were excellent. They are divers and so patient with kids. From initial time in the pool to ensure they were truly ready for their 1st ocean dive to the ocean dive itself, Emoha were great. We saw many people come through and do Discovery dives and each time the same level of patience and passion were shown. Right in front is a great house reef to snorkel. We had some rough sea days which kept us around the pool and all other days we'd jump in and explore the corals. For a 6-room resort, the food was acceptable. Not going to get the same variety that you do at larger places, but what is available kept us eating at only Emoha for our 5 days. Do your dives with EMoha and stay here and enjoy.
