Apulit is filled with so many beautiful creatures. Im Filipina, visited a bunch of different islands, but I've never seen such variety as in Apulit. From giant swimming bayawaks in to baby black tip sharks, it felt like everywhere I looked there was some new magical animal to discover. Totally unreal.

Big highlight of the trip, aside from the overall friendliness of the staff, was doing the pseudo lead-climb up the giant cliff! What a crazy view and a totally manageable experience. Still got a rush but I felt quite capable of doing the adventure, and would reccomend it to anyone. To be able to view the island from one of the highest points, a 360 view, felt almost like I'd jumped into a VR of paradise. Really really cool. Didn't get a chance to rappel down but that's on the bucket list!

The staff are unbelievably well spoken, informed about all things El Nido, and super lovely to be around.They take hospitality to another level. So responsible and eco-friendly and accommodating in the most genuine way.

Stayed for 3 nights in the Water Cottage.

Ill start with the bad (not much):

1. Water Cottage doesn’t have an entrance to the sea straight from the balcony. This could be a major upgrade for the hotel facility and would definitely improve the stay.

2. Balcony is lacking some comfortable accessories: maybe a hammock and some more chairs.

3. Since I got to El Nido from Puerto Princesa the representative of the Apulit sent me an E mail asking me to pay 500 php per person from El Nido to Taytay. I must say this was very strange to me with the price I payed for the stay and the fact that the van is anyway complimentary for passengers arriving to El Nido airport what is the point charging me 2000 php (2 persons El Nido Taytay vice versa). For sure it gave me a bad feeling starting the trip to Apulit with this annoying request. Nevertheless, after complaining, when I got to Apulit I wasn’t charged.

Good:

1. Amazing stay. Staff is amazing! Always helpful always smiling and always kind.

2. Day Tours are so much fun. Snorkeling in different locations, taking a SUP/kayak and just enjoying the sea, rock climbing it’s all complimentary and great.

3. Amazing view and reef

Too much to write about the good just book and go there! Guaranteed fun!

Wonderful stay. Highly recommend for snorkeling and being close to nature. It is not a luxury resort - furniture was missing in our room and the AC required maintenance - also transfers to and from the airport were a big challenge, on the way out we had to wait for an hour at TayTay with no explanation and on the way back to the airport I had to sit with the luggage because they wanted to accommodate a local family on their own van.

Two people that made our trip memorable- Benjie who took us on many snorkeling trips and Amor who kept our room well stocked and clean. Food was also plentiful and most of the time made to order at the grill station. Aside the transportation glitch and the “rustic” condition of the resort we had wonderful time.
