My son treated me to lunch here for mothers day . The food was lovely nice lamb cooked well. The mash was really buttery the way Id make it at home . Best bit was the gravy .Only downside for me was we d booked on 2nd feb and I was very clear which area we wanted to sit as I have a disability I asked for a bonquette seat. The tables can be split for two so I was disappointed that my son and I had been sat right next to exit door which was draughty. On the day I was told well we had a lot of bookings as if we were a walk in .When you book 6 weeks ahead you shouldnt get fitted in .The waiter was pleasant and she closed the door when I told her the wind was biting cold.We go at least once a week but I wouldnt book for an occasion again unless I can request an area.

Spent 4 nights here, could not fault, staff, facilities were all really good.
Try the Pork Trio fabulous, and great value.
Will definitely pencil this site in for another visit. The walk to Catrigg Force is a really lovely place to visit, nature is so powerful.

Camped here in June in torrential rain but that didn't affect the enjoyment of the weekend of our stay. The food is fantastic and not what I was expecting from a campsite, top marks to all the staff concerned with cooking and serving the food. You will need good solid tent pegs as the ground is fairly tough but plenty of choice to pitch up where you fancy and lots of space for camper vans too. The shower block is clean with plenty of really hot water, but could do with more hooks on the back of the door to hang your clothes on. Dog friendly with lovely views and easy access onto the Dales.

We stayed here at the end of August. Despite booking late, Paul fitted us in with hook up included even though online it showed no availability (well worth a call just to check). When we arrived our welcome was warm and our pitch was excellent with stunning views of the beautiful nearby scenery. Lovely clean facilities and a good play area for the kids. The onsite bar and restaurants looked great and was so popular we were unable to book for an evening meal although the breakfast we had was delicious! The site is really near to the lovely town of Settle with a range of places to eat and also a few supermarkets who have decent opening hours (even on a Bank Holiday Sunday!)
While on holiday our son had an accident and Paul was our little boys hero as he went out of his way to help us even emailing once we were home to check on his recovery.
Great site, great location fabulous staff!

This place is stunning. One of the nicest cleanest campsites we've stayed on. We're looking forward to next year's holiday already. The campsite is located in a stunning valley surrounded by views to die for and plenty of wildlife and animals. The facilities are clean and well maintained. 5* campsite
