Me and my family were hoping for a good time and we were all genuinely looking forward to enjoying our holidays at the Zuri. We spoke to Vineeth (Staff), who had offered us good prices and promised all the facilities under the sun (which was included in the so called “package”). He had promised that our room will be ready by the time when we reach, and everything will be ready to use.
Firstly, the hotel is situated in an isolated area, difficult to navigate and find. After finally finding the hotel, we were told that our room was not ready and we had to wait for few minutes (which turned into hours). They had no clue about our booking and the staffs were looking at each other all confused.
Once they did their so called research they told us to wait, which we did patiently considering it was our holidays. They wanted to show us the room before checking in and the staff could not even open the door properly as the key card was not working- we still ignored it because we were hoping for good stay even though it was a bad start.
We decided to get some food from their restaurant while we were waiting. Their buffet had limited choices, but the food was good and delicious considering how late it had been, they still offered fresh food. One good thing about this hotel.
By the time it was ready for check in, the prices and services had changed, the price had doubled! and we had to pay extra for services which we were told that was included in the package. It was very disappointing, The night staff had tried to called vineeth, who was out of service and they were helpless because they had no idea what vineeth had promised us. Very unprofessional and bad customer service.
Please do not promise if you cannot offer. Anyway we are glad we didn’t spend our time there, there was no organisation and it was all a mess. Better resorts/hotel available nearby for better prices nearby.
