We stay for one night during our visit.We booked this house boat through Make my Trip.House boat is newly constructed and nice house boat with hidden rules.....Like they dont run A/C before 9 pm and switched of also in mid night becose we are traveling with children's so we face lots of problems after complaining in MMT same time they also didnt help.No choice in food even you cant gate a single lemon wages.Staff always have excuse than owner of this boat not allowed....Anyways view from house boat very good .

Shivaganga Holidays had arranged the Houseboat stay from kumarakom. There are many houseboat and one needs to be sure what kind of houseboat one needs at the time of booking. As there are boats with larger width having bigger rooms. The hospitality is good but can be improved a bit more as houseboat stay is also nothing less than a stay in resort. The room was good and the food satisfying. The check-in is at 12am and the lunch is served at 1-1.30pm, then there is snacks during tea time and dinner around 8pm. The houseboat cruise is only till 5.30pm or max till 6pm then its anchored by the lake side where in we can go for a walk in the village where its anchored. The AC and cable facility is available only after the houseboat is anchored. Again it depends on the type of boat as many a new boats have DG set in the houseboat.

The tour is very nice and one can feel the beautiful lake, its all around water and just houseboats all around. In the morning breakfast is served and a short cruise before check-out. Overall it was a nice experience and must try to feel the real beauty of kerala.
