“Tasty dishes at Pagudpud”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2017

I have to say that La Cocina de Consuelo is one of my favorite places to eat in Pagudpud, since they serve delicious foods, and also unique Ilocano foods, one of the must tries is the Dinengdeng (mixed vegetables cooked in fish sauce broth with fried fish), Pinakbet with Bagnet, Poqui-Poqui (grilled eggplant sauteed with garlic, onion, tomatoes, and scrambled eggs).

“Reliable and delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2016

Loved the poqui poqui, bagnet and longganisa! Do not miss these three when you go as it is Ilocos Region's specialty. Service is always polite and prompt; we never had to wait for anything during our stay. If you're getting set breakfasts you can opt for brewed coffee for an additional Php 10 -- don't expect much. Would rate them excellent if they had any liquor/cocktails, but you can easily traipse to the nearby Kapuluan Vista Resort for that.

“Beachside Lunch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2016 via mobile

Thought we were already out of the Philippines.lol A bit far but its all worth it. Ordered seafood platter, and waited for like 45mins. The food was ok. Their longganisa tastes good. I suggest the management should do something to lessen the flies that swarms the food. We loved the idea of personal messages written on paperbills of diff. currencies posted around the restaurant.

“A great taste of Ilocos cuisine indeed!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2016

it was our 1st meal in Ilocos so we were excited to taste Bagnet, poqui poqui and pinakbet. We were not disappointed as it was an enjoyable lunch for my family and grand kids. The staff were really very friendly, the place was very relaxing.

“PaGoodFood ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2016 via mobile

We stayed at Case Consuelo during our visit in Pagudpud. For that we didn't have to go out somewhere else to eat since they serve home-cooked dishes with reasonable price (at least it was still home-cooked during our time of stay), and not to mention delicious. I would have wanted to try their gamet omelette but sad to say it was not available.
But I found their bagnet with bagoong, kamatis and native sili appetizing.

During our meals, I admire how they agreed to our request to have our foods served on a table right outside our room in spite of the presence of their restaurant just steps away. So you can imagine how it feels to just step out and have your foods right outside your veranda facing the beautiful scenery and embracing the fresh wind coming from the sea.
