The view is amazing! No wonder it's called the 'Hidden Paradise of the North'. Their customer service is satisfactory. Rooms were ok. Food's a little costly. Location is excellent as it is close to other tourist spots like the Bangui Windmills and the lighthouse.

i have read a lot of blogs and reviews before considering a booking with this resort. our first choice was casa consuelo with a lot of positive comments but since i have a little kid who loves to swim in a swimming pool we canceled our booking with them and decided to stay here. And i made the right decision. the room is big. with a comfortable bed and 1 sofa that turns into a bed also. Comfort room is clean. and they will provide you a complete set of toiletries. The location is great since it have a beachfront just a crossed the street. my little kid enjoyed their swimming pool and life size statue. they also have a playground, a grotto and hanging bridge. overall we really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely come back again if we have a chance.

Last month I took a group to Hannah Resort. Location is excellent. The sea at Blue lagoon was very rough. So we did not see the colour but still was good. Hotel has offer some sightseeing as well. Swimming pools, hanging bridges kids park... very good. But rooms are so small. Area huge but rooms are so small. Berakfast ıs not good. Just egg, bacon and tost in one plate. Coffe includes but if you prefer tea you have to pay extra???. Anyway to see that place was very worth. 1.5 hr away from Laoag.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view rooms

If you want a vacation wherein you want to do many things, go to Hannah's Beach Resort.

The Road Trip Going to Hannah's:
I must point this out. Even without GPS, you can easily find Hannah's. How? There are so many billboards and tarpaulin's pointing to the right direction. Seriously, at first we were weirded out by the amount of advertisements on the road (from Laoag) but we get it. Since it's so far out, they need to put in so many ads for visuals. So kudos for that!

The trip can be long so cut the trip into to 2 or 3 (depending on the amount and age of the drivers, if you're driving). From Laoag, it can be 2 to 3 hours. More, if you stop-by the Marcos' Museum/Mansion, Paoay Church, and the Windmills. Especially if you are going to Hannah's. The road is a bit dangerous (with all the construction and all), so travel during daylight.

Entrance Fees:
Hannah's Beach Resort is located in Brgy. Balaoi (along with other resorts). Upon entry of the barangay, you would have to pay an entrance fee and they would give you pamphlets of the resorts that they have there. Think of it like you're helping the barangay develop the roads going to the resorts and making it a better place (the road can be a bit bumpy and dirty for your car during rainy seasons.)

Resort Fees: There's an entrance fee and parking fees if you're not staying in the hotel of the resort. IF you do avail their accommodations, they offer discounts with their amenities and freebies. Freebies include the swimming pool entrance fees and parking fees (they would give a gate pass). They also offer shuttle services for free ANY TIME. Just call reception.

Rooms: They have an annex which is quite near the entrance. It would be the first accommodation you would see upon driving down to the beach. The annex's rooms are affordable and quite spacious with cable TV and good-working a/c units. The beach is walking distance. The main Hannah's resort have more rooms and villas and it's near the infinity pool and its other amenities.

Amenities:
The amenities are great - zipline, ATV, infinity pool, watersports, sauna, spa, heated pool, hanging bridge, lighthouse, and other attractions for kids. However, the lighthouse is a bit dangerous to explore if it's raining very hard or if the tiled floors are wet for they can be very slippery. And the railings are wide enough to fit a person, what if you slipped?

Nightlife:
Remember that this is not Boracay. The nightlife in here is scarce. There are bars near the resort but only for drinking beers, no dance floors (if you're into those). There are karaokes and such. Hannah's have a restaurant which is open until 12am.

Tours:
They also offer a tour of the sights near the area like the Bangui Windmills, Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, Bantay Abot Cave (you can pass-by here before reaching the resort), and Kabigan Falls. :D

Overall: Our stay was great despite the heavy rain. They're amenities are great but there's room for improvement too.

Reminders:
It usually rains (hard) during JANUARY and the waves can be a bit harsh. Be careful swimming near rocks for there might be riptides (waves that can be very hard for non-swimmers).

Room Tip: The dormitories are great for big families and they are near the beach.
