Its a last indian village lying in ladakh territory, superbly located on high lands... Dont have words to express the beauty of it... If u visit kargil its truly a nice place to visit.

This place is about 10-15 kms from Kargil Town.
You can get a taxi for between 800-1000 bucks to take you to and fro and wait for an hour..
One can see Pakistani border establishments through a binoculars and the border village, which was deserted by the Pakistan people..
Very eerie and quaint..

If you are passing by Kargil then no way you could miss visiting the Hunderman village which is only 8 Kms from the town. The village gives a great view of the pakistani side across the border and with a good binoculars you can actually see pakistani soldiers moving on their side of the border. The drive to this village is no less adventurous as you drive up the hills the view gets even more spectacular. The village also houses some very old structures as old as 500 years old. Enthralling experience.

This place is 10 km from Kargil, and Leh vehicles are not allowed here. We wanted to see this place, as this was captured by Pakistan in 1971 war and this is region under dispute
