Travelled in July 4 adults 2 young children (4 & 7) for a 7 night stay .Arrived around 9pm and check in was very speedy and friendly .As the restaurant was closing soon we were advised to return after a meal to collect our keys etc. This seemed a good idea so we duly had our meal and returned to the check inn desk at around 10 pm. However by that time it was absolutely rammed with new arrivals , however we did manage to get our keys as the check in girl remembered us. The downside was that we didn't get any info about the hotel .So we were unaware of restaurant opening times , procedure regarding safe and about wi-fi. We had 2 rooms very close in Block M and were taken there in a buggy from reception . The rooms were very large for just the 2 of us .Our Son and Daughter in law and the 2 kids still had plenty of space .Nice bathrooms and whole apartment was clean and tidy with a nice balcony and view over the pool to the sea. It was also nice to have a small fridge that had been stocked with sandwiches , yoghurts fruit and drinks. Presumably as being a late arrival we may have missed the dinner .There are Tea and Coffee making facilities , but the ingredients were not replenished during our stay only the water and soft drinks in the fridge. However it is easy enough to get tea bags and coffee sachets and milk from the drinks bar by the pool. The pools are well kept and are salt water .There are lifeguards , but after an incident which resulted in an ambulance being called following a near drowning , their presence was drastically increased .What I did like was that sunbeds cannot be reserved until after 10am.This meant a more leisurely stroll to the pool around 8 to get our 6 sunbeds and then stay there until all our party had joined us after a short while .Then breakfast in relays , as long as there was a presence on the sunbeds there was no problem. The security guard made regular circuits of the pool removing towels on unoccupied loungers. However there were sunbeds available for quite a while and this was around the activity pool. We didn't venture up to the quiet pool so not sure how it was there. The children loved the kids club and went to at least one activity each day. The evening children's entertainment in the Live and Loud area was for English speaking guests and I thought very professional. The hotel is vast and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy a drink .Never had to wait long to be served at the bars and the local spirits are fine the premium package is 13 Euros pp per day which is a bit pricey. The restaurant food is not bad we are not fussy eaters but selection might be limited if you are. Our kids liked the children serving area where they could grab their own meals. Waiting staff were very quick in taking drinks orders.Lunch in the restaurant above the Spa was nice and a cool area after a morning in the sun .The surrounding area is very hilly there is a large supermarket up the hill at the front of the hotel .The beach is down the hill to the hotel rear. Beach is black sand and the waves can be a little rough. There are loads of shops near to the beach , but it is a bit of a climb back to the hotel. In conclusion a very enjoyable time .

Room Tip: K L M blocks all have rooms facing the sea

Recently returned and our family thoroughly enjoyed our break. The holiday village staff were excellent with lots to do for the kids.

There was a local festival that was on for the week which was very loud with fireworks and music waking us up on several nights at around 3 am.

First time in one of the First Choice Holiday Villages and wasn't disappointed. Cant fault the hotel and absolutely loved our stay. We were travelling with two other families and after emailing the hotel direct to request to be close together, we were all next door and in the block that I had asked for. The pool atmosphere is what makes this hotel with all the entertainment staff doing an amazing job day and night and so do the hotel staff. been back a week and missing the pool dances and slushes on tap already!

A great hotel for families. We loved the pool parties and the poolside quiz. Loads of activities available everyday or you could just chill at the pool. My kids only went to kids clubs a couple of times as they loved the activity pool but when they went, they really enjoyed it. All the reps are super friendly and the kids reps are fabulous, special mention to Aron who was always funny, happy and a pleasure to watch #fabdancer Darien deserves a special mention too for keeping the kids entertained with his tricks. Rooms are very spacious, a bit dated but cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided. Food is great, there’s definitely something for everyone, only negative being the flies at lunchtime but with the restaurant being outside/in the open, I’m not sure what can be done about that. Kids entertainment is outstanding, loads of party dances, competitions, shows on the go, however, once the kids entertainment stops, the adult shows could be improved. Overall we had a brilliant time and the kids are desperate to go back so that says it all!
