We went to Pirate Bay for the last dinner of our vacation and were not disappointed. We were greeted by Philip the manager and, even though it was the slow season, service was great and so was the food. We started with a crab back appetizer which was tasty and then dove into some fish tacos, coconut curry chicken and shrimp linguini which were all great! Portions were healthy sized and we all left full! The location was excellent with a nice view down the bay. Would recommend this for a visit if you are staying in the area.

Dont let the appearance of this bay side restaurant put you off. The staff are very welcoming, especially Phillip the manager, who runs the restaurant. The restaurant has a small bar and then a restaurant area that is situated right next to the bay water. The setting is absolutely stunning and eating dinner at sunset is something special!

The food is of excellent quality and the best i tasted while staying in St Lucia . My personal favourites were the fish cake starter and the coconut curried chicken! I couldve have happily ate that meal every single night!

They also offer a wide selection of cocktails, and will make to order any special cocktail requests!

Make sure you visit Pirate Bay restaurant if you are around Marigot Bay, you will not be disappointed!

We were headed to fish fry but we made a stop at Marigot Bay to see the sunset.Once we got into the bay our boat pulled up to the Pirate Bay and we stopped for a beer to watch the sunset. We ended up staying there for dinner and never went to the fish fry. I loved my meal, I had the crab cakes and we also had the fish tacos. The crab cakes were amazing great flavor, and big ended up eating two. My husband had the fish tacos and said it was really good too. Our friend had the Mahi Mahi and that looked really good. Great presentation of the food. Service was great. Had the Banana Flambe which I really enjoyed and I hate bananas. We ended up meeting the manager and the owner who were two of the friendliest people we meet. I cannot wait to come back and have another great meal.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening there. The trip to the restaurant starts with a boat ride from the dock across the bay to the restaurant and slowly motoring across the bay while watching yachts at anchor definitely puts you in a relaxed mood. The restaurant is built on the edge of the water so you step off the boat straight on to a landing and into the restaurant plus you can have your meal overlooking the water.

We found that they have an extensive menu of cocktails that really helps relax you but watch out because some can be slow creepers. the service was excellent and the only drawback was that our group found that the chef had used slightly too much salt in the meal. However they graciously accepted our comment when we mentioned it after the meal.

The restaurant is built between the bay and the mangrove and we were concerned about mosquitoes but we did not experience any bites. There is a long boardwalk that leads from the restaurant through the mangrove to another bar. That bar was not open on the night we visited but the walk through the mangrove was interesting and added to the night's pleasure.
