Certificate of Excellence
Description: This signature restaurant is situated above the Rum Cave lounge, providing clear views of Capella Marina and Marigot Bay. During breakfast and dinner, Capella chefs perform a version of "culinary theater" in full view of diners, and for restaurant guests who wish to dine under the open sky, a set of accordion glass doors gives way to a patio overlooking the yachts moored in Capella Marina.

We actually ate here twice it was that good. There is a standard menu and a daily specials menu. The food is chef inspired creations and it does not disappoint. The waitresses/waiters are prompt and accomodating. I had the best scallops in my life here, and one of the best steaks. Mind you we live in New Jersey outside of Philadelphia, plus we have a condo on the Jersey Shore, so we know good food when we taste it. The cheesecake was so good you would've thought they made the slice right there. They probably did. You could taste the cheese in it. My girlfriend had the chicken twice and she is picky when it comes to chicken dishes. The first time we went they had traditional African musicians playing the drums which was awesome. It isn't a local scene like Chateau Mygo. It is mostly couples retreating from the nightlife to enjoy fine cuisine above the water. Highly recommend. A true gem in the heart of the Bay.

My friend and I had a meal here on New Years Eve. They offered a set menu, which we could choose a couple of options within it though. The menu sounded pretty amazing, but actually when the food arrived, we were really disappointed! The scallops for example, sounded great, and although they were nicely cooked, the sauce they were in, literally tasted of nothing! It was really odd - we could see the ingredients in it, but you couldn't even taste them! Then the steak arrived, which I ordered Medium-rare. It was definitely medium, not in any way rare. Dessert, was a peanut chocolate cheesecake type thing, and although it tasted quite nice, the peanuts were pretty much whole, which made eating it quite hard work. On top of this, each course arrived really quickly, and we felt like we were being rushed through a bit. Not the relaxed New Years eve we were hoping for...
All in all, a nice enough meal, but definitely not worth what we paid for it, even with the 10% discount that we were given when we raised these issues with the staff. Disappointing!

We were in Marigot Bay for a few days and this was the nicest meal we had. We both had the seared snapper which was a very generous portion and beautifully cooked. Nice decor and outlook onto the harbourside with the luxury yachts. We ate in the evening but it might also be better at lunchtime when you can see the views. It was nicely lit in the evening though so looked very attractive. $98 (US) for two main courses, fizzy water and two drinks. Quite expensive. Our server was Jenna who was really lovely - thank you.

Went to the Grill for dinner. Both food and service were faultless. Easily the best meal we had while in St Lucia. Was there a snag? Well, don't forget to bring your credit card or a very thick wallet.

During our week long stay in the Marigot Bay area we ate breakfast here twice. Our first breakfast we ate of the menu during our second we did the buffet. Both breakfast we got great service and food but the buffet made us try food and beverage we normally wouldn't. We also had dinner here twice. We had steak and chicken and both were well flavored. We shared the chocolate dessert which was amazing. The best thing about our meals here was the service. The staff were wonderful, always smiling and enjoying their job and the customers. One night when we were there the power flickered and the waitress quickly said that is to add romance so you can sneak a kiss, I thought this was such a great way of handling a glitch. Would say this restaurant is a must during your stay.
