Looking for a real Caribbean experience with good local food at local prices? This is the place! We popped in several times during our stay in Marigot and were always looked after by Sue and her husband 'fluffy'. The food is excellent local Caribbean cuisine, the beer is cold, the coversation lively, and the welcome always warm. Chat to the locals, negotiate a boat ride or fishing trip, try some spicy rum, or just chill out in Island time!

We would not have tried this, if not for the Trip Advisor reviews. Chicken dinner was a full plate of excellent food, even though the chicken was just a drumstick. Dinner in included rice, beans, noodles and slaw. They had folding tables and benches set up to eat. Service very friendly. US$15 is a lot for a drumstick. US$2 Pitons.

Thanks so much for your review, it was a pleasure to host you.

I just wanted to explain about the price, food is expensive in St Lucia compared to a lot of places in the world, I believe it is because a lot of items are imported, we try to source most things locally so as to help the local economy, and we grow a lot of our own produce, but sometimes we have to concede to purchase the items that we need. We have taken onboard what you have told us and will look to improve on the value of our meals so that our guests go away happy. Our main aim is to provide employment for locals ( most money goes to the big hotels), support our community and most of all make our guests experience a taste of St Lucia, which unfortunately is becoming more and more difficult to achieve nowadays with the old styles of cooking going out in favour of more convenience foods. Thanks once again we hope to welcome you back again to our beautiful island.

Ordered the food and was brought out to us on the beach by owner, Sue. Husband "Fluffy" does all of the cooking. Wonderful flavors with lots to eat. Was a little more, price, than we expected. Piton beer was a lot cheaper than other places. Everyone needs to eat here and meet the owners. Makes everyone feel WELCOME.

Good drinks and food service once the short boat crossing has been taken. Lots of pressure from sun chair guys sorting out a beach spot for you so the english proprietor (Sue) was a wlcome font on knowledge of what to do. Her bar and restuarant was by far the best on offer down on the beech. If looking for less of a beach experience for eating cross back on the boat for lunch at the Marina side. The prices were vey reasonable and surroundings very smart. If going bac to this must do spot that's what we would do. Finally on the way back (we were in our own car) stop at the top of the village and have a drink or early evening meal at the restuarant on the left overlooking the bay ( local prices).
