I went to this restaurant with a group of sushi lovers who ordered up a storm of wraps and rolls and other miscellaneous items. I have to admit that it all looked very good. I even managed to snag a couple pieces and it was delicious. Personally, I like sushi, but I don't love it. That's why I opted for a selection from the Table d'Hote menu. I selected the steak with teriyaki which came with a seafood wonton soup- brimming with shrimp and pieces of fish- and a few pieces of hot, crispy spring rolls. The steak arrived sizzling and cooked to perfection with seasoned vegetables and steamed rice. I finished up my excellent meal with a pot of green tea and a bowl of green tea ice cream. And the price? Thirty dollars for all three courses.
We went on a Saturday evening and the place was full and the service was a bit slow for my companions who had ordered sushi. I also thought that, while my meal was excellent value, the sushi was a bit pricey. However, you can bring your own wine, and that always helps to keep the cost down. Would I go back? Maybe. And I would do the Table d'Hote again.
