Ka Khoh Ramhah isalso called Mawtrop which is a giant conical rock. This giant conical rock resembles a huge upturned Khasi basket and legend has it that this fossilized stone basket belonged to a evil giant who was poisoned by the locals for his evil behaviour and extortion. The basket which he left behind turned into this fossilized stone approximately 200 ft in height.

Dont, just don't waste your precious time visiting this pathetic place. All over the internet you will see over hyped photo shop pictures of the place. I"ll share how actual real pics of the place looks like. But it a huge disappoinment.

It is also referred to as Giant Single Rock Shiva Linga(200 feet high). Legend has it that Khoh Ramhah is a fossilized cone shaped up side down basket of an evil giant who used to torment the locals. So in order to get rid of the evil giant, the people decided to invite him for a huge meal and mixed his food with sharp iron and nails which eventually led to his death. The giant basket that he had left at that place has turned into stone. On a clear day, the Bangladesh plains beyond are a sight to behold.

The place is situated quite a bit interior on the way to Thangkharang Park. The story behind this rock is once a man was carrying this rock on his back and at this place he decided to take some rest before proceeding further. And thus as a curse, the rock started to grow. And since then it's called as Living Rock as it's believed that the rock still grows gradually.

Can't validate the above storyline, but this is what our driver told us.
