Looks like a white scarf of some lady falling into the darkness of the boulders beneath.'Leap of Likai' people say.

Legend of the waterfalls name is tragic as it is named after a local lady Ka Likai who is said to have jumped from the waterfalls on realizing that her baby daughter was murdered by her jealous second husband. March is one of the driest months in Cheerapunji and hence the waterfall flow seemed moderate when i had visited the locale..

This is a place i treat as the best place in the whole world. 20 minutes drive from cherrapunji , this falls when added with the colours of rainbow in it , it's mesmerizing . Most of the times it remains covered by the cloud and that's the beauty of it precisely.

an amazing sight to behold..huge rugged mountains giving way to one of the deepest falls..surely it will take your breath away..with a heart touching story associated to it...it creates a very emotional ambience...one can spend hours staring at the gigantic canvas of natural beauty..do not miss it.

When I went here it was hell of cloudy. Fall was just there for the sake of it because it was not monsoon season. I hadn't seen this much of clouds in my entire life before it. It was nice. Try pineapple fruit sell by vendors.
