We visited for lunch and left hungry and disappointed. We paid 75k for a nasi goreng, which was by far the worst I've had in Bali so far. The food took ages to come and drinks came after everyone had finished their food.
Definitely not worth the prices, go and visit any other place to eat in the island

We originally got a room in the “modern” part, but it was so depressing that we asked for a traditional one instead.
Our “new” room was better than the other, but just run down and there was a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom.
The a/c didn’t work, but maintance made it a priority and it was working by bedtime.
The pool was run down and dirty - and by the end of the day the water was almost not clear anymore.
The breakfast was disgusting (ants crawling in the food etc.) and after the first try, we went down the street for breakfast instead.
There were a lot of “hotel” stray cats that were dirty and very aggressive. They kept trying to get into the rooms and just lingered on every ones terraces (I don’t like cats - but if you do, I guess it’s awesome)!

Wouldn’t recommend - so many more nice places to stay on Gili Air.

Stayed here for a week in April. The staff were great,rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. The pool area was nice and breakfast was good quality with a wide variety. The location was great too. Would recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a standard twin with my friend and although the overall quality of the hotel was fine the quality of spa treatments was awful

I had an arm wax and half way through I asked the therapist if she was new to which she responded 'no but I've never done arms before' - I had to keep checking myself and showing her spots to go over - though I stated I had sensitive skin the wax used was thick and harsh and with having to go over areas I've had a layer of skin peeled off in some areas making me looking like I've been scraped by the rocks and got a dodgy tan - needless to say it was sore going in the sea the next day - I've complained and didn't have to pay for it

I think in general when going to Bali and the surrounding Indonesian Islands the massages are fantastic but other treatments are poor quality and not done well unless you go to proper spas where you'll be paying UK prices

My friend had a pedicure and her feet weren't scrubbed and the equipment used wasn't kept in disinfectant solution

I had a manicure - neither of us had our nails buffed which is a basic step of a mani/pedi and overall most mani/pedis we've had in and around Bali and Gili have been poor quality so though cheaper it's not worth it

She had been watching the person doing my bikini wax so clearly she was still learning

The hotel - On arrival the bathroom smelt awful and required housekeeping to come out - the probably got a plunger in and cleared out the bathroom smell with that as afterwards it was fine

No phones in the room to call from room service or housekeeping etc though

The pool area is beautiful with great sun loungers and plenty of room for most guests however the bar is not continously staffed to getting food and drinks ordered is frustrating

Good buffet breakfast with plenty of selection but loud music in the restaurant throughout the day which ruins the ambience but thankfully doesnt travel over to the restaurant

Overall a disappointing hotel and wouldn't book again but island is beautiful and there are plenty of other options - we went as part of a group tour and I'm recommending the company not to book here again unless things change

We stayed here in the deluxe nice room but what I loved was we checked out on Monday at 10am got back to legian about 5pm that night realising we left out passports and $5000AU in the safe. We contacted the hotel and the next day I make a 10 hour trip there and back and not $1 was missing. Thankyou so much we very much appreciate your honesty. If we came back we would def stay again thankyou so much to the staff.
