Do not book room 109!

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jan 4, 2023via mobile
Location was good around an 8 minute walk to the main strip. We arrived late and were given room 109. This room was terrible, extremely noisy and spelt of mould. The next day we were moved to room 300 which although was smaller was much better as could open for fresh air. We arrived at 8.40pm and the receptionist confirmed the restaurant of the hotel closed at 10pm but last order was 9pm. We headed straight to the restaurant at 8.45pm and was advised that it was closed. After 10hours travelling we were hoping they could have accommodated us given that we were advised 9pm was last order! Upon checkout I was asked for my opinion and raised this to only be told last order was 8pm. This needs to be communicated to all staff and also update on literature if that's the case. Bed was very hard but this is a personal preference I guess. They gave us a 30min kayak voucher however didn't manage to use it.

It's great to hear that the location of the hotel was convenient for you. During that time the room had some troubles and we apologize for that and move you to an alternative room right away. We have also corrected our staff for this concern on the restaurant as this was a mistake at our end. For the kayak, it was during your stay that there were strong waves and the coast guard in the vicinity advised not to do water activities for the safety of the guest. With a heavy heart, we were not able to make your stay enjoyable and with these factors resulting to not being able to experience the Pescadores hospitality.

Located right on top of the beach, is the perfect combination of relax with view. The stairs lead you to the sea where to do an amazing snorkeling!

Terrible in every aspect. Inconsiderate staff, Chan and Wella , front office especially curt and disinterested. Bellboy broke suitcase while carrying. Rooms are small, resort is split into two different areas. Road leading to resort narrow muddy with no light, bathroom was tiny. Extremely noisy. Terrible

Room tip: Other options nearby are much better. This one is too noisy , rooms small , don't go by pics. Staff is terrible

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience at the resort. It sounds like you encountered several issues that impacted your stay. We will look into the concerns on which areas we can work on. The broken suitcase was immediately repaired upon your feedback. All resorts in Moalboal are of narrow roads going in, the street light aspect is beyond our control as this is the government's infrastructure and it is a common setup in general in Moalboal and in the Philippines. It would be good to look at Moalboal as a destination that is far away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and disconnect from the city and connect with nature.

In the future, it may be helpful to read reviews and do some research before booking accommodations to ensure they meet your expectations and needs. Additionally, if you encounter any issues during your stay, it's important to communicate them to staff as soon as possible, so they have the opportunity to address and resolve them

The staff were very nice. They also helped us set up a birthday decor and cake surprise for our friend. But beware of bed bugs. I’ve been covered with bed bug bites and still recovering from it. I informed the receptionist to thoroughly clean the beds, sheets, pillows. Also there lots of red ants inside the room. Good luck on the next guest in Family VIP 3.

Room tip: Its better to get the pool rooms. Also don’t get the island tour (pescadores island). You have nothing to do there.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with bed bugs and red ants during your stay. But may I correct that we have investigated the issue and it came from the guest with pets prior your check in. This time we have already banned all pets in the hotel as an immediate and approriate action and have fully sanitized all our rooms to avoid these kinds of problems in the future. We apologize that these factors definitely detracted the overall enjoyment of your stay.

Our stay here was almost perfect.

Getting a reservation is smooth because they reply very quickly. It's hard to get here but that is not a problem at all. The staff are very very friendly! The place is perfect, the location and the rooms, I love it very much. Our breakfast is delicious! The massage is very good. They have an activity area that you can play billiard, overviewing the beach that is very very picturesque.

However, in the morning after swimming, we found out our room area has no electricity, so it was very dark in our room, no A/C and no charging route. Unluckily and luckily, that day is so sunny so its very very humid and hot. And it was only in our area, the other area is fine. We would have love to stay longer that day but they weren't able to fix it at all.

But I would love to come again!

Room tip: Perfect scenery and friendly staff.

People are friendly and helpful.
Quiet and peaceful and they can also do your laundry.
We stayed there for three days with our friends and we really loved it.

As an older family we really enjoyed our stay at pescador suites. The position of the hotel is ideal, about 600m to the main strip of bars and restaurants. It has facilities for all ages from free snorkelling gear and access to the beach and has masseurs on site. Our rooms were big and clean and the breakfasts yum.
