The butterfly farm is informative, it only has Indigenous species. The facilities are a bit outdated to accommodate the entrance fee however overall pleasant experience.

Very informative. Guides are very knowledgeable .Needs some attention.
Over all a great and new experience. Will definitely visit again.
Good value for money.
And afterwards you can treat yourself to a milkshake!

Visited the Butterfly Farm during our holiday as we thought it would be an interesting thing to do. The place is run down and in serious need of a revamp and the first thing you have to do is watch a 50 minute documentary on butterflies! Zzzzzzzz......! You are then taken on a guided tour and words fail me. The poor tour guides try their best but lack enthusiasm and passion for these beautiful insects. And not a wide variety of butterflies to be seen. Pity :(

The butterfly Farm was very informative but due to the weather there was not a lot to see. They have only South African butterfies and when the weather is off they are very scarse. They do however allow you 7 days to come back for a free visit should you not see a lot. I can recommend the tea garden for nice milkshake and lovely cake.

It was the most amazing thing to walk through the butterflies and see the beautiful colours ... Also went into the weird and wonderful creature enclosure ... Aaaaah spooky ha ha. A very lovely day
