Booked 3 nights stayed 2. These are self catering cabins on a campsite so it is effectively the closest you’ll get to camping. They are v basic and small fine for 2adults and 2/3kids.,they have everything you need. They were clean. But don’t expect any luxuries. We were unfortunate that we booked in March they’d just opened and the weather was freezing. I’d asked before we went was there heating and they said yes. However one small plug in heater was not really what I expected. It was not sufficient.Luckily we brought hot water bottles and a small fan heater but even at that it was freezing. By day 3 we’d had enough and checked out. I know they can’t do anything about the weather but with small children it wasn’t good enough. It was like a garden shed with a plug-in heater. Also there were no manuals anywhere so you had no idea how things like oven and water heater worked. They onsite playgrounds are good the kids had great fun in these. But again I’d asked beforehand were facilities open and was told most were but they were all closed bar mini golf and playground I suppose these are weather dependent. That saying the staff are really nice and if it had been summer I’d say we would have it enjoyed it more.

Stayed: March 2018

22 years going to see Santa and this was by far the best. Went as a whole family from grandparents to the youngest member (2 yrs). From start to finish a brillant experience. Loved the" more mature elves". Very interested in the kids and what they had to say. Santa was great fun. Even Nanny got her turn! Despite the cold , all areas were toasty. Great selection of food to be had. The only recommendation I could make was, toilets near the entrance would have been most helpful when you have smallies! A most memorable experience. Will definitely be back. Well done to all

This was our second visit to Christmas Island and again it did not disappoint. Our children are 10,8,6 years so we needed it to be magical and believable and it really was, and more! The staff are wonderful, friendly and engaging from the fun Elves to lovely Mrs Claus and the wonderful Santa who pretended to read their minds about what they wanted...they were mesmerised!! I could not recommend this experience highly enough- really amazing!

We have done a few of these type of Santa Experiences in the last few years. This I have to say is deffo one of the better experiences. We really enjoyed the day. It was done in small groups which is always a bonus. The first part was the train ride, then the elves and Mrs Claus, follows by a boat trip then on to see the man himself. There was no rushing in any of the areas and all the staff interacted with everyone. There was mini golf, cinema, letter station and other things to do before and after which were included in the price. Great day.
