My first personal experience of a falls in my life and it was amazing! The falls is rocky. We only took pictures of the falls but there is a resort located at the falls and their is an entrance fee of P50.00 if you want to use their amenities. There are picnic tables, swimming pool, climbing wall, zip line, etc.

If you'll only take pictures with the falls, there is a passage at the left when you arrive at the falls and you can hike it to reach the falls, you don't need to pay for the resort's entrance fee. I highly recommend visiting this falls! I'll revisit the place. :)

Mimbalot Falls is accessible to cars but the road is not yet cemented. To go to the falls without a car, ride a jeep bound for Buru-un from Iligan City and ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection to Mimbalot Falls (Fare: P12.00). From there you could hike your way to Mimbalot Falls or hire a sikad (tricycle transportation powered by a bicycle). Or you could hire motorcycle tour guides looking for passengers at the entrance to Maria Cristina Falls for P25.00/person.

When window-shopping or malling while waiting for your buddies is not your cup of tea.
Or, when you prefer the relaxing splashes of the waters or taking some dip over the air-conditioned cinema.
Or, when you just to be away from the hot and noisy urban day.
Or, when you're simply up for an adventure.
This can be the place. This is known to the locals as Mimbalut Falls or Iligan Paradise Resort and Ecopark Outdoor Adventure according to the signage.

How to get there?
You can drive or you can commute. :)
From the city proper, it's less than 30-minute drive. Just drive along the national highway then turn left at the crossing before the Linamon bridge or the road going to the Buruun Fisheries School. (The landmark is the signage Welcome to Iligan City. It's also the terminal of the Buruun PUJ so it's not hard for you to have someone for direction. And also, the road going to Mimbalut Falls is inhabited so there's a friendly community whom you can ask for the way.)
If you're a commuting adventurer, take the Buruun-liner PUJ and get off at their terminal. You can trek from the highway to the falls. In my estimate, it's less than 30-minute hike.
Entrance Fee is P50.
There are cottages and several pools for kids and adults.
I have only seen junkies, no other foods; better bring your own.
You can also try their outdoor activity. Just ask from the staff.
They operate 'til 6pm only.

Nature is always lovable. I love the place except for the trash floating on the waters and some areas of the resort. Hmmm, the downside of eco-tourism and our lack of discipline and care for the environment? :(

It is located in Buru-un, Iligan City. The cascading water of Mimbalot is really inviting for swimming. They have beautiful cottages. On top of the falls, there is zipline and hanging bridge that you can try. I really recommend this place for famiy outing and adventure.

One of three falls near Iligan City (one is Maria Cristina, the other is Tinago). This falls is downstream of Tinago falls. I am not quite sure it is clean. If you are there to visit and just to have pictures of the falls, go directly to the rocky part and trek to the bottom. This is generally free to public. Unless you plan to swim and have a picnic, an entrance fee is required by the resort nearby.
