Owner description: Voted one of the Gold Coast's most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ] properties. As one of Queensland's earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: dedication to conserving our nation's Indigenous, natural and historic heritage and culture. With Blinky Bill now present for daily shows, the amazing viewing experiences available at the Wildlife Hospital and hundreds of native Australian animals on display in natural bushland and rainforest settings, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the ultimate holiday adventure for the entire family.

Everyone should go and support nature and teach children about animals and learning about respecting the environment. It will be nice when they remove plastic from the restaurants and souvenir shop

I hadn't been to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for over 20 years. I am glad we went back. It is now a zoo of substance and there is so much to see to make a day or of it without trying. They currently have a special on entry with adults at children's prices so entry price is very reasonable. You can walk the vast grounds to look at all the animals or catch the train that is always going around. If you want a bit of adventure there is the high ropes course that is is the biggest and longest I have seen. They quote 3 hours non stop to do it all and that was pretty much spot on. What a rush for my teenage boys which left my wife and I free to enjoy each other's company for a while. You do pay extra for the high ropes but it is worth the extra. You can take in your own food and have a picnic or bbq, or buy lunch. Just be warned the price of food is on the expensive side. Buying lunch for a family of four consisting of burgers and chips with a couple of drinks is easily around $100. You can go the good old Four n Twenty Aussie meat pies for about half the price of burgers. All in all though a great place to go and I won't leave it 20 years until I come back.

We stayed at the Sanctuary Lakes Apartments next door to the Wildlife Sanctuary so it was just a few minutes walk to visit the Bird Sanctuary this was the first time in about 40 yrs since our first visit when camped next door when in the original caravan park. the wildlife park has expanded a lot over the years, feeding the birds had not changed but seemed less around than previously, but we manged to feed some Lorrikeets although they were very flighty. best time to go is early around opening at 8.am before the tourist buses arrive.

we really enjoyed this park and have came back more than once. Good for children learning experience, train ride and learn about animals. Its a rescue wildlife park, only kept animals that cant be release back to the wild. All money goes helping those animals and animal hospitals.

Loved it here so many animals and so well looked after you need a whole day there to see everything the little train was a good way of getting around but the walls are lovely too the food and drink inside was inexpensive and gift shops were reasonable compared to a lot of parks I’ve visited you will need a full day here to see everything well worth the price paid on entry.
