The room and hotel is not beautiful or charming, but it has all you need and it is cose to the center. There are not many options in this village and this one is good enough for a night rest during el Camino.

We stayed here after a days walking. It is a busy motorway stop with a restaurant and shop. We had the set menu lunch which was a bit more expensive than the usual but still good value. The restaurant shut at 6pm. The rooms are comfortable with good showers. We left early before 8, but the breakfast choice was not as good as the usual fare on the Camino, so we decided to breakfast in the village.

We were disheartened to find that our lodgings were right on the highway. However, the room was clean and looked very nice. Also, the bathroom was clean and contemporary. Would have enjoyed staying in the old part of town instead.

Why call it hotel Castillo when you can see hotel Avia miles around. So walked right into town before calling and having to walk back. After 32k, not fun. BUT staff was friendly, rooms are nice and large and shower was the best on the Camino. So book it and walk right into it before getting into town.

This hotel is fine for weary travellers but the trap is that for walkers it is on the entrance to the pueblo from the Camino. Once you've got into town and got your sense of direction it is a bit dispiriting to have to walk BACK to this hotel on the main highway. This also means another walk later in the afternoon if you want to go for a pilgrim meal in a restaurant or cafe in this tiny pueblo. Room, wifi, cleanliness all fine. A bit noisy from traffic nearby the main highway etc...but a room is a room is a room.
