Impossible to sleep before at least 1 am because of the noise of the kitchen and machines under our room (22 Family room). If You open the window it is worst because of a lot of clients outside for the différents receptions and weddings. We asked a room in quiet area and it was absolutely not. Dinner and breakfast were perfect.

Set among woods and lakes, an oasis of peace for a weary traveller. I got there very late at night and the staff waited for me with supper which they beautifully served in my room. Very touching! The place is dog-friendly (very friendly!) and you can walk right from the hotel through the forest to the magical castle and the lighthouse on the lake. You feel like you're in a fairy-tale… only 20 minutes drive from the motorway!
Breakfast is plentiful, rooms are big and comfortable, parking and wi-fi are free. Wish we could stay longer.

Room tip: Take a ground-floor room with a terrace and sit out listening to the birds…

We stayed in Churfuerstliche Waldschaenke during our trip across Europe. We needed a hotel for me and my husband plus our two medium size dogs and this hotel was truly fantastic!
First if all- location! Based in woods, where you can take your dogs our for a long walk, surrounded by lovely historical buildings. You and your dog will definitely enjoy the area.

Second- rooms and the whole hotel are very well kept; because we needed an extra space for us we booked Superior Double Room and it was very spacious; we had two beds, sofa, table with three chairs, bathroom (shower/bath!) and a patio/garden area. No smoke smell (from cigarettes) at all which is a HUGE plus! Our stay was during the week, so it was very quiet and peaceful. On top of that our dogs received two towels :)

Food- we only had our breakfast as we stayed there for only 1 day, it was decent, costs €12,5 per person and you can have tea/coffee/juices with a wide range of pastries/cheese/meat/fruit etc.

Reception- another plus- both ladies at the Reception spoken English and we didn't have any issues with our communication.

Overall we were very impressed with this hotel. It was bit expensive (€10 per dog plus extra €12,5 per person for breakfast) but definitely worth considering if you need a quiet place to stay where you can go with your dog.

Just 15 min. from Dresden (by car), in the middle of nature. Excellent place for rest, a romantic place. Very big room and clean. Free and very good Wi-Fi. Excellent breakfast. Car parking. Highly Recommended!

This is an oasis of piece and beauty. Located on the edge of the small town of Moritzburg, itself quite pretty with a beautiful Rokoko Castle, near Dresden, this hotel features comfortable rooms, an excellent restaurant with a terrace, very friendly staff and it is quiet within its own forested ground. I was soooooo pleased.

Room tip: any room will be fine
