Don't be surprised if its really busy on a weekend as its a nice relaxed atmosphere. The nacho platter is really good. Its one of the regular items we always order and the fish and chips are great. Very generous portions!

A Lion's Head favourite. Soak in this historic pub's atomosphere while enjoying fish and chips and a drink.

We're summer locals and this is our go to for a dinner out. Food is consistent, wide menu choices. My go to is the roast beef dinner with Yorkshire pudding, they serve local fish and there's always a good special.
Patio is lovely, service is friendly and whilst the girls are running (it can get very busy) they always have a smile on their face. Would recommend reservations for dinner.

Looked like an older 'pub' style restaurant from street. Up close not so much. cheap plastic tables on patio and greeted with a great big jug of water with 2 little glasses. Meal took forever to arrive and food choice request not honoured. When explained I received a non-plussed response...as in, 'that will go nowhere.' Burger was once frozen and then overcooked. Not server's fault - need overhaul on many levels.

Ate lunch there yesterday, My burger was a preformed patty. Not homemade. Our Caesar salad sauce came from a jar. Busy though because high Season. Service was ok, they need a chef though.
